Kimberley Township Assessment Report
Introduction
Fieldwork
The Kimberley Township claims No. 1206318 and 1206317 are part of the claim holdings formerly held by the Windsor family and recently transferred to Greg Hunt (client number 146779). A site plan has been prepared and is attached, Dwg l. This drawing will be further developed as the project continues. These claim blocks are being explored for their quartz potential both for silica and as decorative stone. At this stage, exploration is at a preliminary level and the assessment work being reported concerns the surface geotechnical considerations and conceptual hydrogeological components.
The fieldwork for this assessment was undertaken between September 4 to October 23, 1998. During this period, the property was re-surveyed by chaining and flagging methods to establish property boundaries and approximate locations of relevant surface features. A series of five test pit trenches were excavated using hand methods to characterize the subsoil conditions and ground water state. In addition to the test pits, five assay samples were collected and sent to the Placer Dome, Dome Mine for gold assaying. This was done in order to confirm the general absence of precious metals as known in this specific area.

Subsoil And Ground water Conditions
At the five locations tested, the subsoil consists of sand and silt size particles (till) overlying bedrock, consisting of granodiorite and granitic type host rocks. Test locations are provided on the attached field drawing, Dwg 2. The depth of subsoil did not exceed l .4 metres at all locations tested indicating that overburden stripping operations in this area will be relatively straightforward. Applications for work permits for advanced site stripping and bedrock trenching are currently being prepared for submission to the Ministry of Natural Resources.Ground water in the test holes was found at bedrock contact with minimal flow conditions. Excavations in this area will not effect the ground water regime which is controlled by bedrock contouring, flowing in the low lying areas only.
Geological Sampling
A series of grab samples were obtained and forwarded to the Dome Mine for assay purposes. The area is not actively being explored for its gold potential; however, it is considered prudent to randomly test for metals at this preliminary stage. The locations of the grab samples are shown on Dwg. Z and the test results are provided on the attached table. Gold grades were generally not high enough to warrant immediate attention, although follow up testing will likely be considered.

Development Planning
The property, which also consists of claims no 1200469 and 1211565, is being assessed for its silica potential for possible markets in mining and foundries. It is expected that assessment work will be ongoing throughout 1999 with possible production plans in mid summer next year under an Aggregate License. Depending development plans a quarry may result with up to a five year mine plan.
