It’s the best week of the summer… See you at Pine Creek!

Weeks 1 & 2: Dave & Mary Boyd

In 1999, the national office of the Assemblies of God formed the national Children’s Minis-tries Agency with BGMC be-coming a part of this agency. David and Mary Boyd were asked to lead this newly

formed agency. David served as the national CMA and BGMC director, and Mary served as the national BGMC coordinator. In 2007, BGMC became its own department under Church Ministries and David is now the national direc-tor for BGMC. Mary remains the National BGMC Coordinator. Prior to coming to the Assemblies of God national office in 1999, the Boyds were full-time children’s pastors in three great churches for 17 years. Most recently, they

were in Fort Myers, Florida with Pastor Dan Betzer. The Boyds have been involved in Chil-dren’s Ministries for over 30 years.

The main focus now for David and Mary is instilling a heart of compassion for missions in kids. They believe that kids can make a differ-ence in the world through praying, giving, and being willing to go.

The Boyds use puppets, characters, gospel illusions, object lessons, ventriloquism, Power-Point presentations, and more to present the gospel in creative ways. They also have a deep desire to see children filled with the Holy Spirit and have a deep walk and ministry with the Lord. The Boyds desire to see kids so spiritual-

ly strong that they will live for God their entire lives.

Weeks 3 & 4: Jesse “the Juggler” Joyner

Jesse is a master juggler and a captivating storyteller who serves as a full-time children’s evangelist. Having experience as a children’s pastor, he’s adept at teaching the Gospel in levels of understanding that are

fun and memorable, albeit unusual. Jesse’s ministry finds relevant, meaningful ways for children to learn about God’s kingdom and plan.

He earned a Bible degree at Taylor University and a Master's of Divinity at Asbury Theologi-cal Seminary. He lives in urban Richmond, VA and is a part of Commonwealth Chapel in Rich-mond with his wife and daughter.

A reminder postcard will be mailed in the spring from our office to every student who attended last year’s Kids Camp. If you would

like to order these free postcards to send to kids in your church or community, they are available upon request. Free bulletin inserts and additional copies of posters are also available by email request: [email protected].

Bulletin inserts and reminder postcards are available in packages of 50.

Camp-themed promotional materials are available for you to use to promote camp to the kids in your church and community. Camp registration packets will include a free poster, as well as a free promo DVD and sample copy of a bulletin insert and postcard.
