DEPOSITA $100.00 deposit is required to confirm all Kid’s Birthday Parties. Where possible, bookings may be held ‘tentatively’ for a period of 48 hours. However, any confirmed booking will take priority over any tentative booking. No event will be accepted without credit card details unless prior written agreement has been arranged by the function organiser and the club.

PAYMENTPayment is required 7 days prior to the event date unless prior written agreement has been arranged by the function organiser and the club. NBC Sports Club reserves the right to deduct any outstanding charges from the credit card (as supplied).

CANCELLATIONS All bookings will incur a 100% cancellation fee if cancelled within 7 days prior to the event.

CHANGES NBC Sports Club understands that numbers can change and will try to be as flexible as possible. However, we must cover staffing, food and setup costs. Decreases to your numbers will only be accepted seven (7) days prior to the event. Increases to your numbers are possible up to 24 hoursbefore your event.

CONDUCT & BEHAVIOURBookings can only be made by a club member. The privileges of the club will be made available to all party visitors and guests provided they are signed in by a club member. If you are not a club member at the time of making a booking, you will be asked to complete a membership application prior to your booking being accepted. All event guests must abide by all club policies and regulations in regards to conduct, behaviour and safety. The organizer and their guests must follow all instructions of club staff. In particular, the following policies must be strictly adhered to.

MINORS Minors (under 18) must remain in the reasonable company of an adult and are strictly prohibited from any consumption of alcohol, regardless of any guardian consent. The club will require any minor found to be in possession of alcohol, and their legal guardian, to leave the premises without exception. It is the organizers responsibility to notify their guests of this requirement.

RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOLNBC Sports Club reserves the right to refuse the supply of alcoholic beverages if we feel the client or guest appears to have over consumed, is under age and/or cannot provide proof of age, is believed to be affected by any prohibitive substance or is otherwise exhibiting poor and unruly behaviour. The Club’s management reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any event guest.

SMOKINGSmoking is not permitted in the Kid’s Backyard and its surround, the greens or inside any areas of the club. Guests can use the clubs designated smoking areas providing they have met the club’s entry requirements.

DAMAGES The function organizer is responsible for any and all damages that might be sustained to club property. The club will document (visually and otherwise) any damages sought for recovery and will engage its own contractors for repairs as deemed appropriate to return the club to its former state. Recovery of all costs will be sought from the function organizer.

FOOD & BEVERAGEThe club is the sole supplier of all food, beverage and consumables for any event held on the club premises. Birthday cake may be supplied by parent / guardian.

WEATHERAll Kid’s Backyard Birthday Parties are held in an outdoor area, and some events can be affected by weather. Occasionally we will need to cancel or postpone events due to extreme heat, rain or stormy conditions. The safety of our clients and staff are our priority.

*PLEASE NOTE that the decision to postpone or cancel an event will be made by NBC Sports Club ONLY and not the client. In the event of an event cancelled due to weather, a full refund of any monies paid will be made within 7 days. NBC Sports Club staff will endeavour to contact all clients prior to weather-affected events to discuss alternatives however please don’t hesitate to call us if you have any concerns.

HATS & SUNSCREENThe Kid’s Backyard is subject to the elements. Sunscreen is available at various locations and is encouraged to be applied regularly throughout your stay. Hats MUST be worn by children 12 years and under at all time. NBC Sports Club’s policy is strictly, NO HAT – NO PLAY. Please ensure you advise all guests that headwear is compulsory.
