Did you know one of the best ways to say I love you mom is to take out thetrash? So youre thinking to yourself, I do that all the time. You may be right.

But how often do you take out the trash without being asked or threatened with

the loss of your video games?

The Bible tells us to give freely of ourselves. In trash talking terms, that means

hauling out the garbage without being asked. Jesus was the greatest example

of a giving person. He actually thought of himself more as a servant than a king.

Most kings ordered their followers around, but Jesus considered it a privilege to

serve those who followed Him. His ultimate act of service was when He allowed

himself to be punished for our sins. Jesus sacrificed his life to save ours. The

Bible says there is no greater love.

Do you want to be more like Jesus? Then dont wait for your mom to ask you to

clean your room. Do it before she asks. Then ask yourself, what can I do for

my teacher, my neighbor, and yesmy little brother. If you need help, ask God

to show you what they need. After you help someone, write it down. When a

month has passed, take a look at your paper and give Jesus praise because

everyday you are becoming more like Him! One more thing, dont forget the

trash!

derby for the Southern Section willbe held March 8th at Faith

Landmark 8491 Chamberlayne Rd.Doors open at 8am Derby starts at9:30am. We will be utilizing a busto get us there if needed. We willmeet at Life Church at 7:30am to

People love happy kids who do kind

things for others. Youve never heard

an adult say, I cant stand that kid, he

smiles all the time and hes way too nice to

people. So jump on the happy bus, put on a big smile, and

start doing kind things for others. Just watch how great you

make others feel. Thats why Jesus told us to be kind to

each other.

You Sweet Thing You!

Get a glass jar with a large lid (cork works great). Pick a

candy to glue on the lid (ex. Peppermints, M&Ms, Mike &

Ikes, etc...). Glue more layers of candy to create a pyramid

effect. Fill the jar full of the same kind of candy and give it

away with a smile.

Freebies!

Make a coupon book for a parent, school teacher, or

Sunday School teacher. Include a few of these: hug, prayer,

clean the chalkboard or bedroom, sweep floor, water plants,

bake cookies, etc...

Welcome to My House!

When guests come over, make a welcome sign for the front

door. If theyre spending the night, put mints on their

pillows, tape a note to the inside of the closet door, and

leave flowers on the dresser.

You have probably been using your brain all day at

school, and the thought of using it anymore is

appalling (big word). But, before you put down this

puzzle, work it out and see what the Bible says

about how we should treat the rest of those brains

at school.
