February 2017
Kia Ora Iwi Katea Kōhunga-hunga Whanau/Hello Balclutha Kindergarten Family. A very warm welcome to Kruz, Skylar, Anna, Askar, Lexi and Halimah and their families. We look forward to getting to know you and supporting your
learning journeys.
Welcome to 2017!
Its great to have all our children back
and see some new faces!
This term our group plan is focused on
developing our children’s ability to fol-
low the four Treaty Promises. Our Trea-
ty ensures that the Kindergarten is safe,
inviting and enjoyable for everyone!
Our four treaty promises are:
*Walking feet inside
*Use your gentle Hands
*Care for your friends and toys
*Do what your teachers ask you
We do this through discussion and
experiences that deepen the children's
understanding of our treaty!
We are looking forward to a fun filled
year!
