Whether sitting or standing, you should work in a comfortable, neutral position, with your shoulders relaxed and your elbows at about a 90° angle. Both the UPLIFT Large and the UPLIFT Switch Keyboard Trays are designed by our Certified Professional Ergonomist. They feature a lift-and-release height adjustment mechanism with a total of 8” of adjustment (3” above the track and 5” below the track). The trays swivel 360° at the mechanism, allowing you to easily place the tray at a pivot or hide it under the desk when not in use. A 30° tilt adjustment range makes it simple to adjust the tray in a neutral typing position. Both trays come standard with two tracks: 11” and 21”. If you choose to assemble your desk with the optional crossbar center rails, you’ll need to use the 11” track for shorter depths. You won’t be able to retract the tray under the desk on the track, but if your desktop is 60” wide or wider, you can use the swivel mechanism to rotate the tray to the left or right and hide it under the desk that way. If you prefer to use the track to push the keyboard tray all the way back for storage, you can assemble the desk without the crossbar and use the 21” track from the front to the back of the desktop. The UPLIFT Switch Keyboard Tray features a separate, adjustable mousing platform that slides from left to right for ambidextrous mousing and allows you to bring your mouse closer to or farther away from your keyboard.
