In networking, people are listening with one pair of ears and
one set of antennae. . .

It’s a natural instinct and part of human nature
“Can you supply me with something I need?”
“Can you be of help to me?”
NetWeavers learn to listen with a second pair of ears, as well as a second set of antennae. . .

The big a-ha about “HOSTING” The difference between “referrals”and “hosting” Level One – recommend a
person and just provide a way to connect
Level Two – letter or email
introduction to go along
with the recommendation
Level Four – NetWeaving
Hosting
Level Three – phone call
introduction accompanies
letter or emai

Why is hosting different?
You are doing the work to schedule the meeting
Littell Consulting Services - all rights reserved
You are there to introduce each other and to set the tone
You can give overview of the NetWeaving philosophy
You will see the magic which is created
You can wrap up with PIONTTO (Pay It Forward)
The NetWeaving Five-Step Program1) At ANY Social, Business, or Networking opportunity, meet a
MAXIMUM of 2 or 3 people whom you decide you would like to get to know better (Make notes on the back of his/her business card)

2) Write note same or next day mentioning some of key points the person made. If you can’t remember any, punt. Follow up with phone call to set up a one-on-one Meeting
3) At the one-on-one meeting, review a little bit about NetWeaving and cover the key NetWeaving questions (refer to www.netweaving.com)
4) At first or second one-on-one meeting, discuss persons to whom each of you could introduce each other and schedule “hosting” meeting.
5) You wrap up the “hosting” meeting with Pay It Forward – challenge each to host a
meeting for two others
NetWeaving Version of Pay It Forward
