FACTORY REGULATIONS
Access to the site• It is forbidden to wear shorts, vests or go bare-chested, open shoes
or sandals.• It is forbidden to enter the production department without
authorisation from the head of the department.
Visitors must be accompanied on-site by a member of staff at all times• Access to the laboratories and production departments is forbidden
to pregnant or breastfeeding women and to any persons who have allergic reactions or symptons of asthma to medicines.
Rules for entry into fire-risk areas:• When entering a hazardous area, follow all the signs and
indications.• Do not use naked flames.• Use only tools and equipment that are adapted for working in a
hazardous area.
Circulation of vehicles on-site• Vehicles may access the site only for the purpose of unloading and/
or loading and for the time strictly necessary for that operation.• The Italian highway code must be observed at all times and a
maximum speed of 10 km/h. Drive within the indicated lanes only.• When parking do not block lanes, cross-roads or gateways.• Emergency vehicles have right of way at all times.
Personal Protective Equipment & Clothing• Wear your helmet at all times and protective glasses.• In hazardous areas, follow all the safety instructions on the signs.
Smoking is forbidden• Smoking is forbidden at all times except in the designated smoking
areas.• It is forbidden to smoke inside vehicles on-site.
Consumption of food and drink is forbidden• The consumption of food and drink is forbidden at all times except
in the canteen and in the areas next to the automatic food and drink dispensers.
Mobile phones• Mobile phones must be switched off.
Cameras and Videocameras• It is forbidden to take photographs or film without authorisation of
CordenPharma Bergamo.
MAIN SOURCES OF RISK• Concentrated acids and alkalis• Liquefied, inflammable and toxic gases• Inflammable solids and liquids• Hot diathermic oils• Pressurised systems• Steam at 3, 5 and 10 bar• Nitrogen• Electricity at 200, 380 and 15.000 volts
WHAT TO DO IN CASE OF EMERGENCYStop all working activities and ensure that all machinery and equipment in use is secured. Remove all vehicles and machinery that may be blocking the evacuation routes. If your Farchemia contact is not present when the emergency alarms are set off, follow the indications of the factory staff closest to you.
EVACUATION PROCEDURESWalk to the meeting point (see evacuation plan overleaf). Keep calm and do not panic. Do not leave the factory site during the emergency.
