The Project
The Department of Historical and Geographical Sciences and the Ancient World (DiSSGeA) at the University of Padova has launched the �ve-year (2018-2022) Mobility & Humanities Project to develop interdisciplinary resear-ch about mobilities. Centre for Advanced Studies
The Centre is committed to running the Mobility & Humanities Seminar Series. Key speakers in the �eld are regularly invited by the Department’s research groups to further elaborate on and advance their research activi-ties. This way, the Centre con�gures itself as an international research hub for the humanistic study of mobility, a place where intellectual exchange and hospitality take a crucial part in the development of brand-new research directions.
Digital Laboratory for Mobility Research (MobiLab)
To guarantee digital support to humani-stic research dealing with mobility issues, a Digital Laboratory for Mobility Research (MobiLab) has been established at the DiSSGeA. The lab, equipped with state-of-the art technology and sta�ed by digital humanities experts, will develop quantitative and qualitative methodologies, research tools, empirical digital projects, innovative teaching and dissemination within the framework of the Mobility & Humanities Project.
