Vacancy - PTA chicken officer!
Easy job - about an hour a month to sort the holiday rota and buy the food, with the help of a big group of volunteer parents via the chickens' very own WhatsApp group. It's great way to meet new St Judes families, make sure this fantastic project keeps going and of course get as much time with the chickens as you and your family wants! Please contact Kitty (George Y6) on 07798 653059 or [email protected] if you are interested. I'm needing to find a replacement as George will move to secondary school in the summer. Thank you! Kitty (George Y6)
We are planning our first ever Wellbeing Week which will run from Monday 29th April to Friday 3rd May. We are planning lots of exciting opportunities for children to learn about the importance of physical and mental wellbeing, including a yoga session for every class. We are also keen to include parents so have booked in a Sleep Hygiene workshop with our Educational Psychologist on Wednesday 1st May. We will be in touch nearer the time with timings and more information about what the week will entail. If you have any questions about the week, please get in touch with Ms Jones or Mr Cutts who are leading this initiative.
Year three children will have their photograph taken as part of The Tate Modern Gallery Exhibition on the first day back after half term. Please remember to look immaculate in the correct school uniform.
Saint of the Week

Congratulations Class Four, you have been outstanding this week!

St Jude's Online Safety Newsflash
Meet our Safer Internet Day ambassadors…
On Safer Internet Day our children were given the opportunity to answer a range of questions and offer
their advice around the theme of consent, with ‘Question Walls’ located in a range of positions around our
school. Martha, Lois, Daniel and Linda’s contributions were identified as outstanding and were recognised
during Monday’s Collective Worship. They were awarded a certificate and ‘safe online time’ 30 minute
voucher.
Martha: ‘We can take control of our lives better online by learning how to be safe and talking to our adults.’ Lois: ‘Try not to spend too long on the internet. You may feel grumpy and say something unkind to some-body.’ Daniel: ‘You should ask an adult immediately if you see something you don't know is right or wrong.’ Linda: ‘I would feel upset and embarrassed if someone said something unkind about me online.’
