Venue
Poznań is a city on the Warta River in west-central Poland, in the Greater Poland region. The Old Market Square and its surroundings are among the most popular tourist attractions of the city. The Renaissance town hall, old tenement houses, cafes, restaurants and the local people create the unique atmosphere of the place.
On the front wall of the town hall you can see one of the city’s main tourist attractions. When the clock strikes twelve, the doors of the small tower on top of the façade open to show two mechanical goats which butt their heads twelve times.
Poznań boasts a long-standing trade-fair tradition. The first Poznań Fair was held in 1921. The Poznań International Fair is one of the oldest institutions of this kind in Europe. The building known as "the Spire" is currently one of the symbols of both the trade fairs and the city.
The 14th ICMS’2021 will take place at the Conference Centre of the Poznan University of Technology. The University is among the most prestigious technical universities in Poland and dates back to 1919.
