General Electric - OMLP Intern May 2015-July 2015
Worked to optimize the ANCA tooling regrind process to increase production a projected 20%
resulting in an estimated 100,000 dollar yearly savings.
This was accomplished by redesigning the loading pallet, creating a forecasting and goal
tracking system, taking advantage of off shift resources, and optimizing grinder programming.
SCE&G - Distribution Planning and Relay Operations Co-op January 2014-August 2014
Designed and built an electrical system to simulate breaker status in a training January 2015-May 2015
substation and avoid unnecessary capital expenditure.
Developed a training manual and presentation used companywide for new Distribution employees.
Completed several system improvement projects to increase reliability of the system and reduce
outage time.
Wrigley’s - Mechanical Engineering Intern January 2011-May 2011
Worked directly with the Engineering Manager to develop a project projected to cut downtime
loss by 50% and increase the efficiency on a bottling line.
Identified issues on the line, performed statistical analysis of production, production line design,
and cost analysis.
Presented the project to the Plant Leadership Team and Hall County GA School District
