Why I Love Kenya is a bi-monthly destination magazine offering a hybrid mix of sublimely compelling imagery, descriptive copy, and concise fact that has been carefully tailored to enthuse, encourage, endorse and excite. Primarily a vehicle of promotion, it has been designed to span the spectrum of international visitor appeal as well as offering updates and insights of interest to locals and industry alike. The magazine, which is a proud example of a public-private sector initiative, is fully supported and endorsed by the Kenya Government, under the direct auspices of the Honourable Najib Balala, Cabinet Secretary for Tourism and via the good offices of the Kenya Tourism Board. It is also supported by the Kenya Tourism Federation, the voice of private investors in Kenya’s tourism industry.

DISTRIBUTION
Why I Love Kenya Magazine will be a bi-monthly publication. The first issue will be May/June 2017 – available for distribution April 20th, 2017.
Print run: initially 10,000 rising in direct response to demand.
The magazine will be distributed to Kenya’s prime source markets via Kenya Tourism Board’s network of Destination Marketing Representatives, in UK/Ireland, USA, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, China, Scandinavia, Australia, South Africa and Dubai. It will also be distributed at all the travel shows and exhibitions at which KTB is represented (WTM London, ITB Berlin, IBTB Spain, Indaba SA, Arabian Travel Market, Akwaaba Nigeria plus a series of USA road shows and all Kenyan travel events.)
Copies will be circulated to local and international tour operators, travel agents and to media representatives. Digital copies will be available for download online. The magazine will also be distributed by the Kenyan Tourism Federation and by the magazine’s Gold Sponsors, each of whom will receive 350 copies. The magazine will also be circulated for display in such high-profile public areas as: embassies, airports, airline offices, clubs etc.
Copies will also be available for bulk purchase at reduced cost by such corporates as would like to use them as hotel room copies or travel seat-back copies.
The magazine will be the first of its kind in Kenya to operate an interactive social media platform aimed at driving engagement; sharing of images and videos; and stimulating enquiries.
