JOINT MEDIA RELEASEby the GREAT TRUST, COUNCIL FOR AFRIKA INTERNTIONAL AND
AFRIKA LIBERATION COUNCIL
KENYA - APPEAL FOR INCLUSIVE, ENDURING PEACE, STABILITY AND SECURITYDURING AND BEYOND 2013 ELECTIONS
The GREAT Trust, Council for Afrika International and the Afrika Liberation Society
appeals for an inclusive, enduring Peace, Stability and Security during and beyond the
2013 General Democratic Elections in Kenya, on the East African sub-Continent. We
jointly appeal to all Kenyan citizens, whatever their position in society, to make Africa
and President Obama proud by shaming the doubters by exhibiting tolerance,
accommodation and resist any provocations and incitements to violence which would
only benefit enemies of the Kenyan Peoples and inflict damage on the Kenyan society.
We remind that the life of every Kenyan Citizen, regardless of ethnicity, religion, geographical location, gender, dialect, political ideology or membership of political
party, is far precious than bitter political disagreements which can always be resolved
amicably or through due process. From this perspective we regrettably condemn in no
uncertain terms the spates of violence that have caused the death of 19 Kenyans in
Mombasa as completely unnecessary, avoidable and non-repeatable.
We reiterate that Kenya and Africa have known too much violence, all of which have
produced no productive results except the fulfilment of the selfish interests of those
who are against the collective welfare, wellbeing and economic development of the

majority of the Kenyan and African Peoples. We challenge every Kenyan to pause and
ponder whom previous violence has benefitted. It is therefore absolutely necessary
that the preservation of human life is prioritised above all else during and beyond the
March 2013 General Elections for Peace to All Kenyans.
Against this backdrop it will be advised that Kenyans should feel it a duty to report
any incitements to violence expeditiously to the Law Enforcement Agencies for
appropriate action to maintain Collective Peace. We reinforce the following for the
preservation of Collective, Inclusive Peace, Security and Stability during and beyondthe March 2013 Elections in Kenya and all the 54 countries on the African Continent:
Kenyan and Africans have more that unites them than divide them.
Political Power always belongs to the People Majority Citizens and never to any
political party or politician. Political parties, regimes and politicians may obtain on
term-time loan, through democratic mandate of political power, but the
People/Electorate are always the Collective Owners of political power.
It is unfortunate that there exists not only in Africa but throughout the world a
strange misconception where politicians, political parties and regimes ill-conceive the
notion that political parties belong to them.
We propose a solution of needed Global Enlightenment about the permanent
ownership of political power to erase associated tendencies of arrogance, petulance,
self-aggrandisement that ill-advised politicians harbour to inject the required sense of
duty of SERVICE not lordship, and humility of high office into governance.
In a Genuine Democracy, political power is never about exclusive power, rather
inclusive power that emanates, is rooted, delegated by the Majority

Citizens/Electorate, to whom elected politicians must remain Accountable,
Responsible, Respectable and above all Loyal to merit legitimacy.
It is important to continue stressing that one of the purposes of the mandate of
political power by the Peoples/Electorate to politicians is to protection of Citizens, not
to be used to set a section of the population against one another or kill them.
Especially in Africa, whose imperialist domination history is characterised by divide
and rule for several centuries as part and parcel of the Wider African Holocaust, the
incitement of Africans against Africans is selfish, parochial, diabolical, criminal and
condemnable.
We note that like the vast reservoir of diverse, rich natural resources which the
Creator has endowed the African Continent and the African Peoples but has been used
to the detriment of Majority Africans, the rich Ethnic Diversity in Kenya and
throughout the African Continent, should be harnessed, mobilised, into a strong
strength of unity in diversity and adversity and force for good, to drive and catapult
the Total Liberation of Kenya and Africa to rapid materialisation a highly
economically developed Kenya and African Continent where the Fundamental HumanRights of each and every Kenyan and African is met, with guarantees for future
generations.
At the international level of world leaders, racial equality illiteracy, bigotry, prejudice,
driven by delusional racial superiority complex is entrenched right to the very fabric of
the United Nations which refuses to grant Africa the right of Veto and Permanent
Membership of the Security Council, which proves very costly for Global Peace,
Stability and Security.

Just as there is an urgent need at the international level for Race Equality Literacy
and Enlightenment for Global Peace, Stability and Security, in Africa there is critical
necessity for Ethnic Equality Literacy at all levels of society to unblock existing
blockages of Tribal Ignorance, Prejudice and Supremacism to unleash the Powerful
Unifying Energies and Forces of Progress, Positivity, Strength and Unity in Ethnic
Diversity.
The destructive, anti-African habit of cowardly, unsavoury, unpleasant, unsightly
spectacles of deranged men let-loose to incite the targeted or indiscriminate attack andhacking of innocent, non-combatant, unarmed civilians is nothing short of criminality
and must be cleaned-up from African Society.
It is time to embrace the African spirit of Ubuntu I am because you are to sanitise
African Politics, introduce a 21st Century Ethical Governance and Leadership that
protects the Collective Interests of Majority Citizens, not brutalise and set one section
against the other.
God Bless Multi-Ethnic Kenya,
God Bless the Multi-Ethnic Majority African Peoples,
God Bless the African Continent & Grant Her Protection from All Adversaries.
