capacity. And without deep fifth wheel settings that can compromise ride. Any weight you can legally shift to the front axle, you can profitably add to payload –

each and every truckload. • More Agility: The T600 incorporates advanced steering geometry that produces maximum wheel cut and a tight turning circle. That

maneuverability advantage plus a dramatically sloped hood, large, post-free windshield – offering more forward visibility than standard conventionals – can increase

driver confidence in the tightest situations. • More Control: Kenworth applies sophisticated ergonomic principles and state-of-the-art technologies to create trucks

that are easier and safer to drive. Optional on-board electronic navigation, curb-view cameras, Smartwheel® steering wheel controls, clutchless automated and

automatic transmissions and wireless communication systems all contribute to reduced fatigue, and can aid in a more productive operation.

An aerodynamically shaped, sloped and contoured hood –coupled with a large post-free windshield – greatly improvesthe driver’s view. The T600’s 46-inch setback front axle helps drivers

optimize and maneuver loads with ease.

State-of-the-art steering geometry delivers up to 54 degrees ofwheel cut – producing a curb-to-curb turning circle of just 56 feeton a model with 165-inch wheelbase.

The narrow and dramatically sloped hood of the T600enhances visibility – both in front of the truck andover the right hand side, two views that challengethe drivers of most conventional trucks. • The three-piece hood design makes fender replacementquick and less costly than a traditionalsingle piece hood.

Every Kenworth cab and sleeper is constructed using seamlesscomposite cab and sleeper roofs and coil coated aluminum sidepanels. Huck bolted together, they make a cab that is designedfor maximum strength and durability. • Bulkhead doors withfull length stainless steel piano hinges become an integral partof the cab, adding to its longevity.

Frames are available in single rail optionsfrom 10 1/8” x 5/16” to 10 3/4”x 3/8 ” –custom matched to your maximum loadspecifications for a smoother ride. Alsoavailable in 10 5/8” x 23/32” aluminumfor weight conscious operations.

Kenworth’s 64-inch long taper leaf springs (available inratings from 12,000 lbs to 14,600 lbs) produce one of thesmoothest rides you’re likely to find in a conventional tractor– welcome relief to anyone who drives for a living.

Under the smooth, aerodynamic lines of the T600 lies what’s just possibly the most perfect working environment ever created for professional drivers. Every

as just one example. Legendary for its toughness, a Kenworth cab combines aluminum and fiberglass in an assembly that’s practically corrosion-proof. Huckbolts

hold all the pieces together with a clamping force six times greater than rivets, so the cab’s strong, tight and more rattle-free. • Then there are all the little

things you might not notice that keep big things from going wrong. Wiring and plumbing are bundled together and mounted high inside the frame to help keep

them safe from chafing, road salts or washing acids. Threaded steel spring pins and bushings extend front suspension life and improve steering. Constant torque

hose clamps stay tight. Radiator tie rods mounted to the frame – not the cab – prolong cab life. And so much more.

Huckbolts hold with six timesthe clamping force of normalrivets, resulting in a cab that’sstrong, durable and morerattle-free.

Sitting in a service bay costs you productive time on the road. That’s why on a T600, serviceable components are easy and quick to get to, less strenuous to take

apart and faster to put back together. • Tip the hood and you’ll see what we mean. The engine sits high in the frame and totally ahead of the cab for complete access.

You can check fluid levels and change fuel, oil and water filters while standing on the ground – not on a tire. The heater/air conditioner motor, electrical master

connectors, windshield wiper motor and washer reservoir are all on the firewall, easier to repair. • Now take a close look at the engine cooling system. On a T600,

it combines straight sections of reinforced rubber hose – more readily available and less expensive to replace than preformed hoses – with steel elbows that are good

for a lifetime of service. • Even the electrical system – a maintenance headache for many operators – has been designed for durability and streamlined troubleshooting.

• Quick-to-fix engineering features like these can mean a lot less downtime, shop time and money out of your pocket.

When it comes to maintenance, you’ll soon discover

there’s plenty of value in what you don’t spend on a T600.

Gauges are front-loading withpush-on electrical connections, acinch to replace.

Modular dash panels tilt out to expose cab wiring that is color-coded and numbered for quick circuit tracing.
