Welcome Back to School!
Dear Parents and Carers,
It has been a calm and purposeful start to the new
term. The children have found their way to their new
classes and hopefully parents have as well!
Having worked on a new Vision Statement with the
Governing Board in July, I shared this with my staff
and then we developed our Mission Statement, illus-
trating how we intend to deliver the very best for our
children. A copy of both documents is on the school
website and contained in this newsletter.
I will be sharing the School Development and Im-
provement Plan with parents in the next couple of
weeks—all parents and carers will be welcome to
attend.

2 Year Old Provision
Reluctantly we have withdrawn from this project due
to concerns over the funding arrangements and con-
flicting advice related to staffing costs and admis-
sions. We may consider developing a 2 year old room
in the future, but at this point it represents a financial
risk to our school.
I understand that you may be disappointed by this (as
we are), but we plan to use the old Ash classroom as
a group room where Parent Gym can take place,
groups of children can be taught and parents and the
Friends can hold meetings.
Please come to see me if you would like further in-
formation.
James
Our uniform does not include:

flip flops/strappy sandals
any item with designer logos or sym-
bols

Calling all parents! Friends of KTS, Annual General
Meeting
The Friends of KTS (our Parent Teacher Association, which
raises money to fund new and exciting opportunities and ex-
periences for our children) will be holding its AGM on Fri-
day 9th October, 1:30pm-3:15pm in the Treehouse.
The timing has been chosen to accommodate many working
parents who have suggested that a Friday afternoon is the
most flexible time for them - we hope it helps!
Please come along to find out out about what we do, what
we've raised in the past year, how we plan to spend it, how
we're raising money this year, and how to get involved in
ways big and small towards making KTS the wonderful
school that it is!
If you can't come along, but would like to get involved,
please email Noémi at [email protected]. Thanks!
