Al-Qaeda is an Islamic Terrorist organization based in the Middle-East.

Al-Qaeda is responsible for 87% of all United States terrorist attacks.

Al-Qaeda has used different symbols and identifications to let other Islamic groups know of them.

Al-Qaeda has been caught many, many times, mainly by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Homeland Security was formed in 2003, 2 years after the 9/11 Al-Qaeda terrorist attacks.

Most researchers say that the main reason Al-Qaeda is attacking the U.S. is because Al-Qaeda wants U.S. troops out of the Middle East.

Al-Qaeda does not like the fact that the United States Army is in Pakistan and the rest of the Middle East fighting against terrorists and other issues.

Al-Qaeda is trying to send a message to get out.

Al-Qaeda, according to research, so far the biggest threat the Department of Homeland Security has detected.

Homeland Security states that Al-Qaeda is responsible for 92% of United States terrorist attacks.

The United States has many ways to take down Al-Qaeda.

For example, Navy SEALs infiltrated Osama Bin Laden’s base and shot him twice.

Also, Predator Drones shot Hellfire Missiles at a vehicle containing Anwar al-Awalki, another Al-Qaeda operative.

Over the years Al-Qaeda’s number of operatives has lowered enormously.

The number of members now lies at around 750 instead of the 2,000+ Al-Qaeda used to have.

Al-Qaeda has not been proceeding with as high of attacks as usual.

A Close Quarters Combat Instructor teaches hand to hand combat and other close range tactics to recruits in the military such as the Coast Guard.

They earn between $68,000 and $83,000 a year.

Although Instructors don’t need any school education requirements, they must have a GS-11 in the Federal Service.

For this career academy you don’t need to go to a specific high school, any high school will work.

This career academy is the Academy of Marketing.

I choose this because although it doesn’t have a connection with my career, this topic interests me.

The United States Coast Guard Academy is a service school located in New London, Connecticut.

There is no tuition to get into this college because all funs are paid for by the United States Government. Students receive $11,1150 a year.

Some of the requirements to get into this college are:

1.) You must be a U.S. citizen of sound and moral character.

2.) You must be unmarried with no dependents or financial

debt. 3.) You must be a high school graduate

or be a GED recipent.

The community service I want to help with is, volunteering at a Special Olympics event.

I did this mainly because my brother is a special needs recipient and when he participated in the Special Olympics Organization, I loved helping him and cheering him on.

I enjoy all the sports that the children (and adults) participate in. The sports they play are just like the sports that me and you play.

Since I have so much experience with this sort of thing, I think I would do a good job with the Special Olympics Program.
