“When students are using technology as a tool or a support for communicating with others, they are in an active role rather than the passive role of recipient of information transmitted by a teacher, textbook, or broadcast. Technology use allows many more students to be actively thinking about information, making choices, and executing skills than is typical in teacher-led lessons.”

We talked about how presentations are done and where they are used. We can use them in a parent meeting, in school or at work. PowerPoint presentations are used as a helping tool when we want to talk about something. They help us focus more on what the person is talking about. We must remember they are a helping tool so we are not supposed to write a lot of information and just read it. We must only put the main things to remember what we are talking about.
