It’s a new year and a new season for ministry here in

Douglas County, CO. In our constant effort to reach

more students for Christ in the wealthiest county in

the state, we have made a strategic decision to merge

areas and instead of eastern and western Douglas

County, we will now be one. Keith will serve as

the area director for the new larger area and we are

excited about the possibilities of reaching more

students with this merger and division of labor.

With an area that is in desperate need of a message

different than what is popular and trendy, our

volunteers continue to reach out to students and

share the Good News in the midst of all of their

distractions.

Please pray for finances, that people in these

communities would see Young Life as a mission

worth investing in.

Pray for a female student who recently attempted

suicide and continues to be in an unhealthy

relationship with a controlling boyfriend.

Pray specifically for a male volunteer leader for

our special needs ministry.

Pray for favor with administration and teachers

throughout the county so our volunteers may get

on campus more.

MEN’S RETREAT IS JANUARY 27-28, 2017 Dr. Mark

Bailey, President of Dallas Seminary, will be the guest

speaker both days. The $15.00 tickets include Friday’s

dinner (6:00 pm) and Saturday’s breakfast (8:00 am).

Tickets are available today, January 15, and 22.

OUR NEXT MEMBERSHIP CLASS will be held on

Saturday, February 11, 2017, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.

MINISTRY OPPORTUNITY IN WELCOME CENTER

We are searching for someone willing to assume the

leadership role of the Welcome Center. If you are

interested, please contact Pastor Charlie in the office.

TRANSPORTATION TO CHURCH NEEDED? We

have contracted with a transportation company to

provide rides to and from our Sunday morning church

services for anyone who cannot drive due to disability

or other limitations. If you, or someone you know,

could use this service, please contact the church office.
