APRIL 2016

Keeping Members Engaged and Informed

Our primary operational focus at PAC is a commitment to individual member experience. First and foremost, we are a member’s Club. As we continue to discuss our proposed construction project, our members should know this is not about event space, as much as it is about regaining use of our member spaces. A two-story addition in place of the tents assists our commitment to provide a personal and comfortable member experience by allowing a more consistent use of our member dining and bar areas.

Food and service quality will always remain key priorities. We will continue to maintain our core dining space with an appropriate ambience for daily business meetings and evening a la carte service. The sustainability of the Club is directly related to our ability to attract and recruit new members as well as retain existing members. These all important member experience spaces are key. With these more dedicated spaces, we will have greater focus on customer service at a more granular level. We will also continue to increase community style events and spaces to promote member interaction.

Our current project is not so different from our founding members. We are creating unique spaces that, along with our focus on quality, will promote sustainability for another 20+ years.

Proposed renovations will: ensure a bright and sustainable future while maintaining ambience, enhance member experience and allow more consistent use of member dining and bar areas, revitalize PAC as a premier venue for both social and corporate occasions and provide additional resources for the Park Avenue Foundation charities.

Within this month’s newsletter, we are touting a new member campaign called “Share Our Story”. As mentioned in my February article, PAC has over 1,000 members. This provides us a very powerful ambassador base if each member were to share our amazing story with a few friends. Our story is quality dining with a philanthropic mission.

This month’s non-profit spotlight focuses on Jersey Battered Women’s Service. Let’s take pride in knowing “Dining with a Purpose” at Park Avenue Club is assisting their mission and growth. Membership at PAC is genuinely a feel-good membership. Kind regards,
