2020 Brush and Bulk Collection Calendar Keep Our Neighborhoods Beautiful! Be sure you know your Brush and Bulk Week. Violations could result in a citation up to $2,000. Know Your Week The Dallas Sanitation Department provides once-a-month brush and bulk collection for residential customers. Brush and Bulky Items can only be placed at the curb on your Set Out Days. The Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday before your collection week are designated as your Set Out Days. Keep your neighborhood beautiful: if your neighbor is setting material at the curb on the wrong Week, please call 3-1-1. You may either go to DallasBrushandBulk.com to learn your brush and bulk week or call 3-1-1 to determine your week. The color-coded calendar on back highlights the collection weeks. Week 1 = Blue, Week 2 = Green, Week 3 = Yellow, Week 4 = Red. What Items Are Collected? • Only items originating from your dwelling, no external waste. • Large Limbs, Shrubbery, Bagged Leaves • Furniture, Appliances*, Mattresses and Box Springs *Appliances with Freon (e.g. refrigerators) are not accepted. • Monthly volume set-out limit is now 10 cubic yards. What Items Are NOT Collected? • NO new construction or remodeling debris, bricks, concrete or dirt* • NO loose trash, tires, electronics, glass, or car parts *Cost Plus service is available to retrieve certain construction materials or if you missed the brush and bulk collection pickup. Call 3-1-1 to arrange free estimate. For items that are not listed as part of the brush and bulk collection, please go to DallasBrushandBulk.com to find out how they can be recycled or properly disposed. Residential Waste Drop-Off Services Dallas residents can bring limited amounts of materials like electronics (for recycling), construction debris, and tires to the McCommas Bluff Landfill (5100 Youngblood Rd.) or one of these transfer stations: Southwest: 4610 S. Westmoreland Rd., Northwest: 9500 Harry Hines Blvd., Northeast: 7677 Fair Oaks. Passenger tires (25 inches or less) can be taken to the Landfill and any transfer station. Please limit to 6 per year per Dallas resident. A current Texas driver’s license and utility bill stub are required to prove that you live in Dallas. Vehicle must be a car, truck, van or trailer less than 15 feet long. Separating Brush and Bulk Items: We suggest that Brush and Bulk items are placed in separate piles at least 3 feet apart to help with our collection efforts. You can now set out up to 10 cubic yards.One way to help visualize the amount of brush and bulk that can be set out every month is to think about a gas range that is 3ft. by 3ft. by 3ft. Ten of those ranges (or similar sized items) would add up to 15ft. by 6ft. by 3ft. which would be about 10 cubic yards.
