KEEP CALM AND ENJOY ERASMUS PLUS WHAT HAVE WE DONE SO FAR ? ? ? ? Week in Slovakia After weeks of waiting we had finally met each other, we had learned something new in the open lessons and after all we had a lot of fun and we had made some unforgettable memories. In those days we saw some places in Slovakia We had familiared you with some of monument in our town as was: Florins House Water power station Wooden bridge And some of you went to see the mayor of our town We didnt stay only in Doln Kubn. We went sightseeing and saw some of our historic monuments, such as Orava castle. Orava castle We went on some excursions Sewage water treatment plant in Nmestovo The dam wall During the culture evenings we showed you our traditions and our traditional food and meals / korbiky, haluky../ We sang a traditional folk songs / erven jabko / You also showed us your traditions Our teachers prepared open lessons so we could learn something new about solar panels and collectors We had an opportunity to ride a solar bike After really nice time spent together we had to say goodbye but luckily, not for long. He also pointed out using and consumption of energy in the households. Biomass- Kysuck Lieskovec Gabfest Mr. trifler An expert, he spoke about practical ways of using renewable sources of energy We demonstrated our work to our parents. We made some snacks for them and we explained our plans for the future... And their faces were like... We also presented the project to our younger schoolmates. They were all really excited. We worked on some activities The Earth Week We dressed in reference to the colours of nature every day In the end of the week the most creative class was rewarded... GREEN BROWN YELLOW BLUE Lessons full of memories, 1st-4th grade Familiarising with water and Earth Literary and creative competition named Water Writing poems and making posters We did something special for nature around the school Creating a school garden and a hotel for insect.
