In honor of this, Three Rivers Public Health Department is hosting a car seat recycling day, allowing you to bring your used/crashed/expired car seats to be recycled for FREE! Is your child’s car seat or booster seat: • More than 6 years old? • From a garage sale or thrift store? • Involved in a crash? • Not being used and needs recycling? If you answered yes to any of these questions, please help us get these car seats out of circulation to ensure more children are traveling safely in our communities. The seats will be dismantled and all plastic recycled. Bring car seats to the west-facing doors at 2400 N Lincoln Avenue Fremont, NE. We will accept car, truck, semi-truck and tractor tires. Unloading and assistance may be limited so plan to unload on your own. There may be a limitation on quantity per vehicle - this information will be available closer to the event date.

Please remove rims from tire, as they will not be accepted. Tires will not be accepted from tire dealers, resellers or businesses that charge a fee to dispose of tires.

Latex-Based Paints Not Accepted At This SiteProper disposal of latex-based paint may be easily achieved at your home. Appropriate disposal of latex paint requires that the paint is completely dried or hardened with the lids removed before placing in the trash. Here are two ways to properly dispose of latex-based paints:
