KE7TTT Battery Power Station I wanted a rugged battery backup system that would last me for days before running down. I used the highest quality, marine grade battery box I could find. The Attwood F27 has multiple access connections, including two 12V automotive power sockets, external 30 amp accessories post and a built-in battery level tester.

The storage battery is a high quality Group 27 AGM battery, rated at 110 AH. This battery is designed for use with solar panel generated storage. Power distribution is with a RigRunner 4005 panel bolted to the battery box:

I keep it charged and maintained from my household AC current using a BatteryMINDer #12248 charger.maintainer/desulfator for AGM. I move it around with a collapsible hard cart I found at Costco.
