Responsibilities:Manage and maintain compliance of air, water, and waste environmental programs. Obtain approved AF Form 3952 prior to requisition of items in Federal Standard 313 classes. Manage inventory receipt and issue data to include AF Form 3952s and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in EESOH-MIS. Complete installation Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) reporting requirements.

Implements the Environmental Inspection Process to include Shop-Level Inspections and Program-Level Compliance Assessments.

Serves as the focal point to review all the design and construction work orders for engineering orders to assess any environmental impacts. Provides the feedback of impacts to the Site Manager and Installation/Site Commander.

Prepares and submits EASI reports to the Installation/Site Commander/USAFLO and 21 CES/CEIE. May require assistance from the Environmental Coordinator.

Identifies any planned procurement action that may be capable for producing the ionizing radiation. Maintains the records for these procurement actions.

Develops, implements and maintains a drinking water SAM plan. Include the laboratory’s sampling, preservation (holding times) and shipping requirements in the SAM Plan.

Collects drinking water samples IAW SAM Plan and ship samples to an independent certified laboratory for analysis and results.

Makes notifications if drinking water standards are not met to 21 AMDS/SGPB and respective host base immediately. Immediately implement the public notification procedures when drinking water analysis results indicate a potential public health threat or result in non-compliance with applicable regulations and standards.

Participates in the host installation Drinking Water Working Group meeting.
