Practical trainingPractical training takes place:•In Sectoral Practical Training Subdivision of Construction at the Centre,•In workshop of the Centre, •At companies that perform building construction and repair work.

Duration of one program - 40 weeks:•theoretical and practical training – 32 weeks•internship – 8 weeks To enroll in the training of these all programmes a person must have a secondary education.

• Properties and use of raw materials, construction drawing and reading construction drawings, requirements of construction norms and regulations, working with equipment and means of mechanization, preparation of surfaces for finishing work, health and work safety requirements and etc.

• General vocational subjects: Civil protection , Aesthetics, Basics of economics and business, IT of profession,

Lithuanian language skills and terminology of the profession, Healthy lifestyle.

Practical training takes place• In Sectoral Practical Training Subdivision of Construction at the Centre,• In workshop of the Centre, • At companies that perform building construction and repair work.

Training program is modular.

Duration of program - 40 weeks.

During practical training there are reinforced and improved skills of finishing works for building surfaces, wallpapering, plastering, tiling, painting, drywall works and etc.

To enroll in the training programme for decorator (builder), a person must have a secondary education.

During practical training there are reinforced and improved skills of joiners work technology, manual wood processing technology, linear fittings and furniture manufacturing technology, assembly of complex wood products technology, interior installation technology, log buildings construction technology, frame house building and insulation technology, roofing installation technology, wooden buildings and wood products repairing and wood processing technology while using machine.

To enroll in the training programme for joiner, a person must have a secondary education.

Practical training takes place in companies and starts at 8.00 a.m. Theoretical training takes place in the premises of the Centre and starts at 5.30 p.m.

According to one-year training programs considering companies requests: •Initial vocational education and practical training skills can be acquired in Sectoral Practical Training Subdivision of Construction as well as in training and mechanical workshop of the Centre.•Students have opportunity to have a real workplace – in the company.•There is a real opportunity to consolidate in the company after completing the training programme.

Benefits of training programs

According to one-year training programs considering companies requests: •Persons having no qualification and competence are trained in the companies, in real workplaces.•Persons having a certain job position but having no appropriate qualification and competence, after completing the programme, both are gained. •In te case of completing the programme, the person saves his/her workplace and the company saves the employee. •Mutual benefit for the company as well as for the employee.
