As a cost-effective alternative to truck

transport on the road, rail transport is an

option. With rail freight, goods can be

transported reliably and quickly at favourable

rates over medium to long distances. We offer

rail loads throughout Germany and Europe in

full containers - the european rail network

extends from portugal to russia, from polesto

to bosphorus. Even in places where the width

of the railway changes,

there are possibilities for rail transport to carry on the transport. We select the right transport route and the best possible utilization of weight and space according to your requirements and thus ensure the economic preservation of your goods. We offer rail services from HAM/ROT/ANT/ZEE/BRV for inbound and outbound FCL. In addition, we also offer barge services from ANT/ROT for inbound and outbound FCL.

DANGEROUS MATERIAL Warehousing & Shipping & Transport

Hazardous materials require special handling, but with

our knowledge and experience they are just another

commodity to be shipped! Handling hazardous materials

has been defined by the United Nations in detail and

requires special training. There are numerous

regulations and agreements concerning transportation of

hazardous materials by road, rail, air and sea, including

rules on packaging, securing loads, labelling and

transportation. There are also specifics concerning

drafting the relevant shipping documents.

In many cases, individuals are not aware of the fact that

their goods are referred to as hazardous material.

Hazardous materials include adhesives (for hatch

covers!), fireworks, gasoline, heating oil, lithium-ion

batteries (as found in laptops!), certain fertilizers and

uninstalled airbags (potentially explosive), hospital waste

(potentially infectious), all kind of radioactive materials

(such as that used in medical and technical applications),

but also substances which may only be very dangerous in

large quantities. A truck filled with lighters or spray cans,

for example, may thus be considered as a hazardous

materials’ shipment, even though from the outside it

might normally not seem to be the case.

Without transport insurance, there is no compensation

in the case of natural disasters, damage during

loading/unloading, movements of goods, or arising

from the fault of third parties. We are experienced in

and offer all following services:

• Issuance of insurance certificates in accordance with

letter of credit (L/C)

• The policy includes all transportations, independent of

the person who arranges the transport

• You save time and you can stop worrying about

transport insurance for each section of the

transportation route

We operate exclusively on the basis of the German Freight Forwarders

Standard Terms and Conditions (ADSp) latest version applies in each

case. Due to Article 23 ADSp, liability for damage/loss to goods

according to §431 HGB (German Commercial Codes) is limited

• To 5 EUR/kg whilst in the custody of the freight forwarder

• To 2 SDR/Kg (Special Drawing Rights) for multimodal carriage incl.

sea transport

• To 1 million EUR or 2 SDR/kg per claim or to 2 million EUR

Or 2 SDR/kg per event, irrespective of the number of claims per event,

in each case whichever is higher

If we are liable according to the provisions of the Montreal Convention, Art.

27, ADSp shall not apply. Art 27 ADSp shall also not be considered as an

extension of liability through imputation of default by agents,

representatives, employees, subcontractors or other third parties in the

cases of Art. 36 CIM, Art. 21 CMNI or section 507 HGB. Otherwise clause 27

ADSp shall remain unaltered.

Regarding to § 512.2 HGB (nautical errors or fire on board) we are only

liable as a sea carrier in case of our actual fault. Under regulations of CMNI

it is agreed that we are not liable for noetic errors, fire on board or ship

defects as per Art. 25.2 CMNI (freight forwarder acting as freight carriers).
