TOUGH SEAM.Tough seam is derived from our Power seam technology. Wider seam on the outside than on the Powerseam version and glued and blindstitched on the inside. Advantages are a strong and durable inside seam which is watertight and

more economic than our high powerseam technology.

FTM. Fluid Taping Method.Used since the last 10 years by Prolimit. This

technique is reliable, gives a good stretch and resistant to UV. The Fluid Tapes are actually liquid

neoprene seals closing up the seams 100% for a watertight and secure seal. Seam Taping.

POWERSEAM.Powerseam is a new Seam lock technologycarefully following the seams with a very thinand stretchy non stiched outside seal and a wider, flat and non sticky inside seal, which covers not only the double lined parts but also the skin parts of your wetsuit. The unique formula makes it extremely stretchy, nicer and neater but very strong and the best seam technology avail-able. 100% watertight and stronger than anything out there.

WETSUIT TECHNOLOGY

Wind-chill is the biggest reason for having cold suits. On double lined suits, the outer layer is made out of fabric which absorbs water and gives the wind-chill. This is called evaporative cooling.Prolimit is using a water repellant coating which avoids the fabric to absorb water and reduces the wind-chill factor significantly. Similar to double glazed windows we constructed our Innovative Tri-laminate neoprene named Tricore neoprene. Outside layer and inside layer with in between air spaces which are sealed airtight and provid-ing superior insulating properties. Tricore neoprene is therefore the most amazing and most insulating neoprene on the market.

The 5 way flex knee protection designed for high wear resistance. Ergo-nomically shaped and extremely stretchy.

We all are familiar with water being trapped in the wetsuit causing huge neoprene balloons above the ankle when using the ankle straps but also the disadvantage of not using the ankle strap. To overcome this we constructed the Leg Drain holes. The drain holes are forcing out any water which might enter your suit. High density neoprene inserted shin pads are well protected your shin area against impact for radical maneuvers and freestyle action.

Recognizable on its orange color. The best cold water zipper on the market. This high end zipper is used in high-end cold water suits. There are no spaces between the teeth of this zipper. The result, a virtually waterproof zipper. No more cold water trickling through the teeth of the zipper and down your back. The whole zipper flap is coated with a waterproof coating and the zipper is made out of Stainless steel for a bullet proof quality and watertight seal.

Our water barrier that blocks out water for maximum performance in cold to frigid conditions. Prolimit is using 4 different waterblock systems, Waterblock vest, Waterblock collar, Waterblock uphaul and Waterblock on the different series. Located at the outside of the lowerleg outseam and constructed out of Airflex2 neoprene, this key pocket is easy to access and completely secure featuring a elastic cord and drainhole.

Our water seal cuff is the perfect water seal. The arm cuff seal elimi-nates over expansion and seal out water.

A unique heater system developed by Prolimit for the coldest sub-zero conditions. A modular Heater vest with a separate rechargeable battery and strap-on arm pouch. Can be used with any existing wetsuit as we supply a conversion kit with the system, iron-on patch with a small hole for the battery wiring. All Prolimit high end wetsuits are Heat Vest Ready and designed to automatically accept this innovative system.

Prolimit constructed the Airflex500 neoprene. Very flexible neoprenewith 500% stretch. Wetsuits made out of Airflex500 neoprene is offering incredibleflexibility and minimal resistance while moving. On certain rangesand areas Airflex500 is used strategically for maximum flexibility.

Strategically placed high stretch neoprene in high stretch needed areas such as underarms, armpits, knees, back, etc.

Easily recognizable by its U shape we created a collar which is undoubtly the most comfortable feeling wetsuit collar on the market. Releasing the pressure on your throat and still being extremely flexible, wide adjustability with a secure lock down.

The extended cuffs are used on our Drysuits as a perfect combination of a ulti-mate neoprene waterseal.

Skin neoprene wetsuits are extremely warm because it doesnt hold water like Ny-lon outer fabrics. Because rubber skin does not hold water on the outside, there is no evaporative cooling on your skin. Plus, skin neoprene is wind chill proof. Wind cannot penetrate the rubber surface. This makes skin very warm. Proven to be 40% warmer than any lined suit. Dual skin neoprene usage for a smart use of flex-ibility and durability

Prolimit Velcro adjustable leg cuffs. Provide a secure lock down, less water entry, easy access and high comfort. Featured on Global series and Pure Girl Fire wet-suits.

Patented by Prolimit. Inventions do not have to be complex. Our EZi zipper up-haul puller shows exactly this. Using a tubular webbing which extends with 30% we avoid the flapping uphaul cord while you still can close and open the zipper without being a contortionist.

Prolimit constructed the Airflex550+ neoprene. The most flexible neoprene avail-able with 550% stretch. Made out of Airflex550+ neoprene is offering incredible flexibility and minimal resistance while moving. On certain ranges and areas Airflex550+ is used strategically for maximum flexibility. On our high end series our suits are completely made out of Airflex550+ neoprene.

Upgraded from a raw neoprene edge. This squashed edge feels soft, keeps maximum strech and is more durable. We apply this new tech-nology on our 2012 collars. On our highend suits we have it on our leg and arm cuffs.

We have developed a unique heater system for the coldestconditions. This in the form of a modular Heater Vest with aseparate rechargeable battery and strap-on arm pouch. PROLIMIT INNERSYSTEMS LAYERINGNeoprene wetsuits have remained unchanged since its original concept. This concept being a thin layer of water insulated between your body and the wetsuit. Body temperature is transferred into this water and in-sulted from surrounding weather conditions. Seals on cuffs, collar and zipper ensure that an excess of water does not enter the wetsuit.

WIND-CHILLThe human body loses heat largely through conduction and convection. The rate of heat loss depends on the wind speed over the surface, the faster the wind speed, the more readily the surface cools. By using a 1st layer (innersystem garment), water will remain against your skin and resist excess water entering. Added thickness and insulation contributes to extra warmth and wind-chill will have a minimal cooling effect. Comfort and manoeuvrability will also increase as the wetsuit and innersystem garment slide frictionless over each other.

PROLIMIT INNERSYSTEMS are made out of thin Limestone based neoprene. A high heat reflective Titanium layer optimizes heat retention.

DESIGN Ergonomic fit and stretch for ease of movement. Engineered body shaping follows the body curves to retain body heat. A variety of materials are used, specifically utilized in different parts of the garment.

PROLIMIT BOOM HEADThe NEW 2012 Prolimit Boom head is all new!

WE HAVE RE-DESIGNED IT TO INCREASE STIFFNESS AND HOLD, WHILE IMPROVING EASE OF USE AND COMFORT.

1. The lever is all new and works with a Spectra rope loop which will last 10 times longer than the old

rope system. The rope loop is hooked onto one of three rounded teeth on the lever and crosses a higher or lower hip on its way to the normal rope hook. This allows for specific mast diameter adjustments.

This system replaces the rope and cleat adjustment found on other booms and is quicker, neater

and lasts longer with no cleat slip to spoil your session. For those who prefer the traditional system, the cleat is still included in the design. 2. The Mastcup now has a higher collar and increased wall thickness which reduces flex and increas-

es contact area with the mast. 3. The Skinny-adapter has increased sidewall strength and an improved inside surface. The new Lever and Skinny-adapter are a modular design that can be retro-fitted onto 2010 booms.

These parts can be ordered seperately. The new Boom head can be found on our old 2011 booms except the Titan and the pro booms. These new features translate into a market leading product which will take your rig control to a new level.

1. The new V-grip aluminium boom tube is setting new standards in stifflness with smaller diameter. The tapered and ovalised inside section of the boom is more ergonomic than a circular section, giving you more time on the water and less wear on the palms.

OUR PROLIMIT MONOCOQUE BOOMARMS ARE CAREFULLY BENDED TO GIVE THE BEST BENDCURVE FOR ITS SIZE. UNIQUE INDIVIDUAL BENDCURVE! UIC -Wave sails are different from Freeride/slalom sails and Slalom/Race sails have a complete different profile and centre of effort. Prolimit adapted this in the complete new boom range with the UIC bendcurve, giving each individual size boom and different profile targeted at the bend curve of the sails the boom is build for. A smaller size boom has a more Wave type bendcurve, having the deepest point of the boom more in front, while the bigger size booms are slightly wider towards the back and the longest booms have the bendcurve way further to the back with a wider endtail as well giving the racing sails also the space to breath and react their maximum speed.
