career

CareerTrained in advertising graphics and illustration, I produced within TOUCAN Creation (sole proprietorship founded in 2002) various campaigns for the public, artists, merchants, artisans, communities ..Interested in the diverse material supports, I focalised on the field of printing, offset, digital or Digigraphie, the mastery of the surface allows me to expand my creative techniques.Digital photography has played an important part in my work, and I am commit-ted to its implementation for many projects.In 2009, the European Heritage Days exposed my work around the architectu-ral ornaments (knockers) of Bordeaux. Since 2005, my work enables me to be qualified as project manager for different expositions.In 2011, I created The TOUCAN Crea Production Company, through which I explore the video scene and directed the film «BORDEAUX HERITAGE» 2000 years of architectural heritage, and the associated iPhone application.

«Vies à Vies» testified meetings and workshops conducted in 2007 in three nursing homes in the Gironde with artists Grain Company people. This artistic and human adventure led to initially a visual and sound ins-tallation. Today, it enters the second chapter of his achievement by adding to the existing video triptych made a sound space with the elderly homes. A third chapter yet to be written ... The adventure continues.

“The film Bordeaux Heritage walk in Bordeaux with a historical overview for each place visited. Its aim is to contribute to illustration of the city,“ says Karl Harancot. It is a contemporain and past Bordeaux city, with over 30 monuments and spaces. It is an exploration of the city from antiquity to the present. This DVD is the first made on the architectural Bordeaux classified by L’UNESCO.

Karl Harancot has the idea to convince the public to acquire the heritage of Bordeaux through T-shirts. These declined in six models with various combinations between the background and its pattern. As a result, one can wear on his chest in pink, blue, black or white: column of Girondins, the Grand Theatre, the fountain of the Three Graces and identity Aglaë, Euphrosyne and Thalie (as little of us know, it must be admitted), the Stone Bridge, the Aquitaine door (Victory Square) and knocker.
