• Once upon a time there was a miller and his daughter. The girl’s name was Lindsey. They lived in a poor house. It had broken windows. Lindsey’s dad said “I’m going to send you to the prince castle to make straw into gold.”

• Lindsey said to herself but I can’t make straw into gold. Her dad’s name is Randy. Lindsey had no sister’s to play with. Lindsey’s dad called. The prince took Lindsey. Then he put her in a small room with straw and a spinning wheel.

• Lindsey said to herself I need to try or else my dad won’t have money to buy food for us to eat.’’ She tried her best but when she saw the pile she made. She thought her dad was going to have no money to buy food for us.

• She started to cry. She shouted out the window dad dad! Nobody answered yet because they were still sleeping. She kept shouting but nobody answer yet. Then she said help! Help! She heard something a little whisper and foot steps.

• Lindsey said who are you. ME! I heard you scream for help yes. Why because I need help. For what. I can’t spin straw into gold. Oh! I can help you . Thanks a lot. But give me something.

• Okay do you want to have my ring. Okay. He started to spin some straw. When Lindsey saw the gold so beautiful she thought about her dad that he would have to much money. She said thank you very much.

• The prince came and said, “oh great! I have great news! You did a good job! You may get married and become a beautiful princess.
