Materials: 1 each KaraOke 50g/100m (50% wool, 50% Soy Silk) Colours #280 #281 #287 #294 #296 #297 #303 Size 4mm and 3.5mm hooks for loose crocheters, Or use 4mm and 4.5mm hooks for average tension crocheters. Tapestry needle to weave in loose ends. This long scarf is worked lengthwise. Our scarf measures 2metres. Working in clusters of 2tr, forming a "V", into which the next cluster is worked for the next row. Start with however many chains to make the scarf long enough. I started with 4mm hook and with approx 230 chains, which will make approx 115 "V" clusters. Skip 2ch, into next ch, work 2tr, skip 1ch, 2tr into next ch; continue like this to the end. End color and weave in loose ends. Starting with a new colour, turn, into last 2tr space, work *1dc-1ch- 1tr* (this being the way to start every row); 2tr into next 2tr space. Continue to the end of row. Change colour for every row, work approx 10 rows of varying colours. Work next row to the end, except that in the corner, instead of ending yarn, make a 2tr-1ch-2tr, and 10 2tr clusters along the narrow end of scarf, and continue along other long side of scarf and other narrow end, slst into top of first (1dc 1ch). Cut yarn. With a new colour and size 3.5mm hook, work clusters of 5tr into each previous 2tr space, all around the 4 sides of the scarf, creating a wavy effect, cut yarn. With a variegated colour, work a row of dc all around, except when the yarn is thin, work 2dc top of each tr. Cut yarn, weave in ends. You now have a very funky, snaky and warm long scarf; or you may want to make it wider and use as a wrap. Copyright Reserved KaraOke Waves By Yazmina-Michele de Gaye Intermediate Crochet
