n One pair of old sports shoes or raftingshoes to be worn during ‘wetactivities’

Packing For CampPacking For Camp

n Important for students to pack their ownbags.

n Important for students to be able to carry

their own bags – they should have no morethan 2.n One small backpack and a piece of soft

luggage is best . (does not need to bebigger than a cabin bag)

n Packed lunch, snack & drink for Tuesday(Day 1).

n The packing list for students will go homeprior to camp so students can prepare andpract ice being responsible with their own

packing.



Safety ConsiderationsSafety Considerationsn Risk assessment has been done on all

activities.

n Teacher/student ratio is better than 1/10,complies with school policy.

n

Students will undergo cycling lessons in PEprior to camp.

n School nurse with us for duration.

n School nurse to dispense medication as per

guardian’s written directions.n Teachers are EFR trained.

n NIST teachers are present and solelyresponsible for students during activities

led by outside groups.n
