In addition to Aqua Shield ™, Kamco alsomanufactures polyethylene-coated copper tubing for gas, fuel-oil and various industrial applications. For gas applications, we offer both coated coppertubing and tin-lined coated copper tubing. Bothprovide added corrosion protection and cleareridentification of tube contents. The inner tin-lining of Gas-Pro ™ allows it to be installed in many areasthat do not permit the use of bare copper due toconcerns of excessive sulfur in the gas.
For fuel oil applications, we manufacture both coatedcopper tubing and outer-sleeved coated coppertubing. Both are extruded with a uniquely groovedpolyethylene coating that protects the copper fromcorrosion and the environment from contaminants.Pro-Tec Plus™ features an outer sleeve that enablesthe tube to be installed in areas where additionalphysical protection is required.
To complement the lines of tubing, Kamco offersseveral accessories. These include a customtermination flange, spring benders, heat shrink kits,deburring tools, PVC tape and quick-disconnect BBQ boxes.

The polyethylene coating contains UV inhibitors to help avoid breakdown if in contact with direct sunlight, giving you the option to store the tubingoutdoors. The coating also features continuous line-markingsindicating tube contents, size,ASTM specification anddescending footage markings. In addition, Kamco prints a lotnumber directly on the tubeenabling it to be traced back to the origin of manufacture. Aqua Shield’s polyethylene coatingis extruded to meet a minimum of.026 mil thickness.
