FIESTA is a new concept in mirror design; it is a two mirror scope with the "third mirror" being a glass tube filled with

colorful glass balls that roll towards you as you tip the scope up. The outside is available in a pink iradized glass or abeautiful "art glass" that is lightly textured and each one is unique with the basic colors of blue, gold, and white swirling

together to form "waves" of color. There is one patterned clear side to let in light when viewing the interior of the scope

The METEORITE,COMET,ASTEROID and SOLAR FLARE are four different 'scopes. They are abou

three inches long. The METEORITE has decorative welding on the outside and is a standard three mirr

on the inside. The COMET'S exterior is smooth and the interior image is two mirrors with a curved thir

surface, giving the illusion of colors swirling up to meet the eye but still retaining the traditional two

Circles is a teleidoscope that is slid into a small circle of metal that i

welded to another larger circle of metal that is welded to still anothe

circle of metal, hence the name Circles! The teleidoscope is a two

mirror scope that can be removed from the base to view around the

room. A glass dish rotates on the base and is filled with objects. It

comes with a small bag of objects but you can use anything you wan

SHORTY is made from thick walled steel so it has some weight to i

for its small size. It has a two mirror system with a curved reflective

surface as the third mirror side which gives it a very pretty swirling

along with the central two mirror image. Finely detailed glass

lampworking fills the turning end chamber. The scope is 2.5 inches

Festival of Scopes is a combination of 8 end turning kaleidoscopes in a base that is made

a section of a large gear with steel tubing welded to it. The end turners of the scopes are

decorated to look like candles and, in fact, the middle one is a candle. Each of the 8 scope

has a different mirror image and can be lifted out of the base for easy viewing. The image

are beautiful when looked at in a darkened room using the center candle as light. The cencandle is a votive candle and the base of the votive lifts out just like the scopes. One of th

images is a six point star to resemble the Star of David, the other images are all different

from each other. This scope weighs about 18 pounds and measures 13 inches across the b

and the center candle is 12 inches tall. The scopes end chambers contain glass

lampworking.

This is truly a one of a kind! It is six scopes with six different mirror images. It is 12 inches tal

and 11 inches across. Each scope is welded to one arm of a multi tool that spins around.. Wedont know exactly what the tool is but it makes a very unusual scope, dont you think? It weig

This scope is made from a three candle centerpiece. It is made of metal. There are three scopes

two mirror, a three mirror and a four mirror. The scopes are decorated to look like candles with

These Sconces are 15 and a half inches tall by 6 and a half inches at their widest . They are both made o

wrought iron and are two mirror images. One has perforated metal as a third side and the other has a

curved reflective surface. These were made so that they can be hung on a wall or free standing. They

would look wonderful on a mantel or on either side of a mirror or picture. The candles lift out of met

sleeves so there is no danger of them falling over. There is all handmade lampworking in the endchambers. These can be purchased singly or as a pair. $250. each

ARTISTS PROFILE

Peter and I have lived in New Jersey all our lives, moving to the northern mountains and woods area in the late 1960

have always been artistic; drawing, sewing, cooking and making just about anything for myself and Pete, and our son

Kevin . Peter is much more mechanical and industrial orientated. He does the metal work that is involved in making

scopes; welding, brazing, cutting, cleaning and designing. I fell naturally into working in stained glass, by taking a n

course, which afforded me the opportunity to really express my artistic talents in intricate glass cutting on band and r

saws and decorative soldering. Most of our kaleidoscopes are our combined talents in glass and metal working.. We collected kaleidoscopes for years and discovered we had some new ideas for the industry which had never been done

before. Our stores, galleries and fellow kaleidoscope artists were as excited as we were with our new designs. They w

all very supportive and we moved easily into the art community. This has been a most rewarding 14+ years for us; b

able to make a living creating art and giving enjoyment to so many people
