Facts • The kakapo is the only fligthless parrot
in the world.
• The kakapo is a nocturnal bird.
• The kakapo is native to new zealand.
• The call of the male kakapo can be heard from 5 kilometres away.
• In New Zealand there only ninty left
• today the only kakapo that remain live on two small islands called Codfish Island and Anchour Island

What kakapo eat?
kakapos are herbivores. their favourite foods
include fruit, nuts, seeds, leaves, tussock, grass, fern roots, moss and
especially berries

• A kakapo is green to camouflage themselves.
