International Changing Hearts
Transforming Lives Impacting the World
“Kairos gave me a reason to live. I believe that, had I not come to know God’s love, I probably would not be here today. How else could a person with two life sentences survive the horrors of prison life? All things are possible with God. Without Him, many of us don’t make it. It was because of Kairos that I got to know God, and ultimately, I was given the chance to live.” — Kairos Graduate

One Ministry, Three Programs KairosTorch
Kairos Torch is a mentoring program for incarcerated offenders age 25 and under.
KairosOutsideThe purpose of Kairos Outside is to demonstrate God’s grace and love through Christian support for women who have relative/friends who are or have been incarcerated.
KairosInsideThe Kairos Inside program brings positive and negative leaders together, in both male and female institutions, for a 3½ day Weekend based on a series of talks, discussions, chapel meditations, and music led by a same gender team of volunteers.
The Weekend is a combined effort to introduce young men and women to Christian concepts as a means of making better choices for their lives. Spouses, parents and relatives of the incarcerated
often “do time” right along with their loved ones. The initial Weekend is followed with an established six month one-to-one weekly mentoring program that
encourages the youth to remove their masks and see themselves as God sees them.
The Kairos Inside program goal is to build a continuing Christian community inside the institution through Prayer and Share accountability groups, and monthly Reunions organized by Kairos Graduates and volunteers.
The goal is to provide a safe place to encourage the sharing of one’s life journey, to create an opportunity for a relationship with God and to promote participation in Support Groups.

You can become a Kairos volunteer, and participate in the Weekends in the prisons or correctional facilities.
Let children or youth groups draw placemats or wall posters. These drawings often mean the most.

Not all volunteer opportunities to serve involve going into a prison. Create Agape Posters
Agape can be posters, placemats and banners addressed to the entire Weekend community as a group. All Agape must be done in prayerful love.
Pray for Us Without prayer, a Weekend cannot happen. We have people like you praying every minute of the weekend — even all night!
Bake Cookies or Meals Make a Donation All Kairos activities are funded by donations. You can make your donation online or send a check to your local Kairos organization.
We need dozens of cookies for a typical Kairos Weekend.
