K-Life Ministries Inc. was born in 1979 as the vision was cast to develop a youth ministry that would take place during the school year

as a follow-up to Kanakuk Kamps.

K-Life transitions headquarters to Branson, MO in 2002 and Kyle Unruh takes over serving as President of the ministry.

K-Life establishes a subsidiary called the 2:8 Association in 2010 as an effort to reach more kids and families for Christ.

Current studies reveal that over 60% of today’s teenagers are walking away from the church and, in many cases, their faith as well. the potential ramifications of an epidemic like this over the next 20-30 years could be staggering if we don’t act nowwith great purpose.

k-life’s solution to this problem is to build quality, authentic relationships with kids, allowing these relationships to be the context for bringing truth to bear on their lives.

“One to Many” is the more visible component of our ministry. This component includes our weekly clubs - high energy meetings that consist of worship, games, skits and talks that contain a lesson with a relevant life application from the Bible. This also includes a variety of events and weekend activities that kids can participate in, such as cookouts, concerts, tournaments, ski trips, retreats, service projects, and more!

Leaders and volunteers are the lifeblood of our ministry. College students and young professionals come alongside our staff to help serve on the front lines by serving at clubs and events and leading small groups.

september 2011 - may 2012

The effectiveness of K-Life rests largely in part on the quality of our staff. K-Life employs young adults who have graduated college and who have a clear understanding of the vision for relational youth ministry.

K-life is as much about growing familiesin Christ as it is about fortifying kids. This ministry has touched ourhousehold very personally and helped us claim a moreintimate relationship withHim.” - K-Life Parent

“One to One” shows where our ministry takes root - discipleship relationships. Our goal is for all small group leaders to spend time with their kids outside of small group, deepening those relationships and creating more opportunities to share Biblical truth.

“One to Few” describes the heartbeat of our ministry - relationships. We believe the best way for relationships to be built takes place in a small group setting. These groups meet weekly with K-Life staff or volunteer leaders to deepen their relationship with Christ.

“K-Life was important, because itconnected me with a group of friends and a mentor during a very transitional period of my life.” - K-Life Alumni

amilies gathered for food, fellowship, and games at the new K-Life house in

Sheridan, Wyoming this past August. Parents’ faces beamed with joy as their

kids signed up for discipleship-focused small groups. It was exactly what they

had envisioned- an organization in their community, run by a staff team with

volunteers, that would love and encourage their children, while showing them

the love of Christ. Parents in Vilonia, Arkansas and Dumas, Texas also experi-

enced this same joy, as chapters launched in their communities as well this fall-

all joining in the efforts to influence this youth culture for Christ.

Our heart and vision is to expand and grow every year, reaching more kids and

families for Christ than ever before! We continue to set goals so we can keep a

clear vision to measure every step. Of course, we can’t do this without your

support, so we want to cast that same vision to you as well.
