Justification Of Images
Image One
This image is mid close up in which we detect the in full detail; we detect the outfit and the appearance of the model by this we immediately establish the scenery . I decided to shoot this image as it represents the model in a brief way, she is looking away from the
camera which implies the model is standing by the attitudes of Grunge- how they act like they don't care and never follow trends. The choice of scenery and outfit exemplifies the
notion of standing ground and not conforming to what society thinks.
Image Two
This image helps informs audiences where the location is situated. The busy atmosphere reflects the accents in the music of Grunge- guitars usually tuned to a lower key, how everything in the further back is condensed and busy. The body language of the mode (Dan) really emphasises bravery and attitudes that have
negative outlooks. This image also conveys social alienation, apathy, confinement, and a desire for freedom shown by the mood of his face and the
standing on the bench.
Image Three
This image is a medium shot which concentrates on the which focuses primarily on the guitar. The model’s (Nadia) body language is presented in a informal way act like
you don't care, even if you do
Image Four
This is a medium shot that is isolated with a white background this links with how many grunge
musicians displayed a general disenchantment with the state of society, as well as a discomfort with social prejudices. The messy outfit fits the traits the stare at the guitar addresses alternative rock on full scale it does not have any particular musical style but many
performers have made up their own style by including distorted guitars. Sounds range from the dirty guitars of grunge and the gloomy sound. I might incorporate
this image because it will mesh well with a rough scenery seeing as the model is on her own and has a simplistic style which will contrast with the exterior.
Image Five
I took this image at a gig and it really reflected the natural elements of
Alternative Rock. The use of two models playing the instruments without any
insecurities and focused only on the music link well with the ethics of Grunge; take as little effort as possible on appearance and dress for comport and affordability. This
shot is a medium shot, it clearly establishes the instruments being played.
I took this image with the camera on black/white I did this deliberately to
experiment and explore different effects.
Image Six
This is image is a close up, I took this image using my camera and formatted the setting to ‘Sepia’ I didn’t Photoshop
the image. I did this to have various effects and tones for preparation when I
import the image to Photoshop. The direct eye contact emphaises the true meaning
of alternative; confidence bravery and boldness.
