Removing System restore procedures. Below are the steps that help to mitigate system
threats and vulnerabilities. System restore point feature helps operators to quickly restore
system files to previous states without making any changes to saved data which helps to
reduce threats and vulnerabilities.
Warnings and Restrictions:
Verify that computer is connected to wired connection. Back up all drivers to an external
hard drive or other type of external storage media for future use.

Steps: 1: Log on you computer
Press Window key + RThis will open Run menu
2. In run menu Type CONTROL then press enter
This will open Control Panel
3. Navigate within the Control Panel click System and Security click System then click on System Protection
4. Click configure then click “turn on system protection” then click OK5. Type a descriptive name for your restore points then click “Create” as shown in image below 5. A popup window will appear “ Creating a restore point” after that a popup window will appear if the restore point was created successfully or unsuccessfully as shown in images below.

6 Once restore is complete, click finish then restore process begins
Remove Restore points on Windows 8.1
STEPS:
Step 1: Open Control Panel,Search restore point in the search box, and click Create a restore point to move on as shown in the image below.

Step 4: Wait until deletion process is complete.You will see the restore points were deleted successfully as shown in the image below.

that includes turn windows features ON/OFF, Modify, repair, or uninstall a program from
a Windows 8.1 system, and find installed and removed updates.

Ensure the computer is running on wired connection and computer has Internet
connectivity because it needs certain files from Microsoft. Do not disconnect, unplug, or

4. Then click Programs and features as shown below,
5. In the left click windows features on or off
6. In the window feature window that appears check the box corresponding to the feature you want on and uncheck the box corresponding to the feature you want to turn off then click OK.

7. Wait for the changes to be applied then close.
b. Modify, Repair, or uninstall a program from a windows 8.1 systems. To uninstall/ Change a program STEPS:
1. Right click on the start icon in the lower left hand corner.

3. Select an application you want to uninstall then click Uninstall
c. Select and install Updates for Windows Applications, Find an installed Update, remove an installed update
To install updates: STEPS:1. Click at edge of the screen, Click Settings, and then click Change PC settings.2. Tap or click Update and recovery, and then tap or click Windows Update.3. Click Check now.4. Then click View details.5. In the list of updates, select the update containing KB 2919355, and then tap or click Install. Make sure to restart your computer after installing any updates

To remove an installed update:STEPS1. From the start screen Click Search
2. Then Click view installed updates as shown below,
3. Then click on view installed updates, which will take you to the installed updates (which includes lists of all installed updates) as shown below
4. You can scroll down and look for specific update or you can search it at top right corner at search bar.

5. Once you find the update you want to uninstall, you can right click then click uninstall then click OK.
Make sure to restart your computer after you uninstall the program
All above mentioned procedures and steps are used to manage Windows 8.1 program and features.
