Andy, Danny and Lisa find out what happens in the story of Romeo and

Juliet. They will talk about why it is such a famous play and explain what

some of Shakespeare’s words mean.

Romeo and Juliet is a very famous love story about a young boy and girl

who fall in love, even though their families are enemies. The original

story is a tragedy meaning it has a sad ending, and some of the

characters die.

This production will follow the same story but in a light-hearted and fun

way, because Andy doesn’t know how the story ends. He plays a lot of

different characters along the way.

Sometimes the actors will make loud noises and sometimes they will run

around being funny. They will wear different hats and costumes and they

will use different toys and words to tell the story.

During the show you are free to leave the theatre and return if you need

to.

When the show finishes, the actors will bow. People will clap their

hands.

or if it is too loud, you can put your hands over your ears.

Riverside. You will leave through the sliding doors again.
