Just A candle

The candle tip moved again.The climate in the room is claustrophobic and intense.The chilly wind

outside is blustery.Strentorious sounds of bated breath have filled the room.The candle keeps burning

brightly.It is hard to say what it has in his mind.For a moment it felt as if the nip of the blaze has tilted

somewhat.I did not why I was feeling hollow.The flame was a cascading one.The deep inner recesses

was brownish blue kind and the borders were yellowish giving It a brawny shade in the concentric

forms.The brain has caesed to function somewhat.A strange noise was coming in my mind time and

again.Something like ,”chhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh”.The grass hopper sitting next to my window might

 just have lost its way and is looking straight at the candle perhaps looking to take a final jump.

In the dim light of the candle as the shadow on the wall kept enlarging.I found two letters talking to

each other.

A shouted to Z,”do you know I am superior?”

Z replied,”who said that ? it was a mistake by romans to make u A ..the first alphabet ..it doesnot in any

way give u the right to belittle others”

A replied with an air of his own,”O really!!! “

Z replied,”ok then lets see who is the best?”

A vaunted,”well then why not just make a grammatically meaningful sentence which has just words

beginning by your name?”

Z replied,”u first”

A replied,”Altering academic anatomy abysmally aggravates academia aptitudes.”

Z replied,”huh..well in that case here is what I have to say..Zeus ‘s zealous zephyr zooms zany zonely”

The moment Z finished with his reply,A burst out laughing,”ha ha ha ha..incorrect..how can zephyr zoom

zany zonely?”

Z smartly replied,” Well I think it perfectly makes sense.Think harder u will see the light”

A replied,”huh! U know what Z God always gives individuals what they deserve …they should not hanker

for more..just like what u do hanker after”

Z replied,”well A I am an ordinary letter who lives its life in the less known bracket unlike u ..I live my life

..which begins with zany and ends like a zephyr.”

A continued,”Have u seen dhoom 2 ?I play a lead object in it.”

Z replied,”wow..congrats but I have a world of my own.”

A continued,”all losers say that ..”

Z replied,”Mind your words always remember zeal starts with z ..we live a life of our own..may be in a

less sophisticated world but yes we still respect zeal and boys make sounds in the evenings “zoom

zoom!” with aeroplanes in their hand”

The shadows chatted on and on. The candle looked at them making changing postures and

pouses.Sometimes it hurried on towards them like an angry school master rebuking his

students.Sometimes like a group of wild men enjoying their day out.

To every word that A uttered the candle mildly burst into fames and to the words that Z uttered it

became silent and slow.Slowly but gradually the shadows began to lengthen.The young candle started

to grow old.Dark fumes were sky rocketing out wards.

There was nothing to do for it anymore.It was growing senile and dwindling away.The grass hopper

have come abysmally close now.It too was looking cowardly ..aghast at the chat between A and Z.It was

trying hard to decide for itself as to which side it belonged.

The shrilling sound have now faded.A sweet smell is starting to fill the room.The moonlight has started

to come in. A and Z are at peace now .The shadow has lengthened too far and have engulfed the entire

room in darkness.The candle light made last 3 postures before becoming silent atlast.It moved to its left

in great motion only to swiftly come back and then forward again and then silently extinguish.

The dark fumes came out for a few seconds and then the sent of the fumes also faded.It is completely

dark now .I thought and thought as to who won the A or the Z?
