ANGELO JUROR A lifelong Texan, Ron St. Angelo has had his photographs published in countless books and magazines during his thirty year association with the Dallas Cowboys. While on the Cowboys' sidelines, he has captured historic images that have included NFL record breaking titles and three Super Bowls. Hired by Tex Schramm in 1979, he photographed the legendary Tom Landry for his official Pro Football Hall of Fame photograph. His photographs from Super Bowls XXVIII and XXX were chosen as the official NFL Lithographs for those two World Championship title games. In 2002, he earned a Pulitzer Prize nomination in journalism for his photographs of Emmitt Smith breaking the NFL rushing title. Born in Beaumont, Texas, Ron is a highly decorated United States Navy Veteran serving two combat tours of duty in Vietnam from 1967-1973, fighting in the Tet Offensive in 1968. He served as a U. S. Navy Gunner's Mate and Boatswain with the Battleship USS New Jersey, Yankee Station in the Gulf of Tonkin in Vietnam. In 1989 he was awarded a Master of Photography from the Professional Photographers Association. His work is on permanent exhibition at Dallas Cowboys Headquarters and AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. In 2009 the Dallas Cowboys established the St. Angelo Signature Collection. One of his original works is on permanent exhibit at the White House and has been acknowledged by President George W. Bush, Senator John McCain, and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton. His career has included many significant accomplishments such as traveling to China in 1989 to instruct Chinese professional photographers in American techniques and methods. In 2004 he was chosen as one of Nikon Camera's Master Series "Legends Behind the Lens" photographers and traveled with Dallas Cowboys Hall of Fame Quarterback Troy Aikman to be honored for his lifetime achievement at the Photo Marketing Association and Trade Convention in Las Vegas. His bestselling book, "Greatest Team Ever", was released in 2008 and features more than 170 photographs along with essays from author, Norm Hitzges. Today, Ron serves as an Adjunct Professor of Photography at the prestigious Art Institute of Dallas. 1982 2017

Entries will be accepted during regular banking hours, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Main Bank, 300 E. Whaley, Longview.

• JUNE 25 Opening Reception – Open to the Public Main Bank, Longview 2 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Awards Presentation – 2:30 p.m.

• JUNE 25 – JULY 6 Daily Exhibition – Main Bank, Longview

9 a.m. to 5 p.m. All entries will be on display.

CATEGORIES All photograph content MUST be taken in the state of Texas. Winners will receive cash awards from Texas Bank and Trust for first, second, third place, and honorable mention in each of the categories listed. • LANDSCAPE

The natural scene and the rural or urban cityscape

• FINE ART Still life, floral, line/form/texture, architectural details and interpretive environmental portraits

• HUMAN INTEREST People, pets, action, human condition

• NATURE Wildlife and plant life found in nature

• COOL KIDS CATEGORY Open to all child photographers 6 through 12 years of

age. You do not need to be a member of the TB&T Cool Kids Savings Club program to enter.

SPECIAL AWARDS All photograph content MUST be taken in the state of Texas. The following special awards will also be given -• Best of Show • Chairman’s Award • Vice Chairman’s Birthday Card Award • President’s Award • TB&T Christmas Card Award • OMNIClub Birthday Card Award • The People’s Choice Award Chosen by public ballot during the two week exhibition

All winning photographs will be published in Texas Bank and Trust’s 2018 Collector’s Calendar, although only 12 images will be selected as feature photographs for individual months.

ENTRIES & FEES Each photographer may enter up to six (6) photographs. The fee is $5.00 per entry. The photographer may enter all in one category or participate in each of the categories. Texas Bank and Trust reserves the right to decline entries that are considered inappropriate for exhibition and/or publication. Previous winning photographs may not be entered.

ELIGIBILITY The contest is open to all Texas amateur and professional photographers.

SPECIFICATIONSAll photograph content MUST be taken in the state of Texas. Photographs may be color or black-and-white and images may be film or digital. Image area must be a minimum of 8” x 10” or full frame, not to exceed an 11” x 14” image size. Photographs must be flush-mounted on a neutral-colored board (white, grey, or black), with the board not to exceed 11" x 14". This includes panoramic images. No framed or over-matted work will be accepted. No title, artist’s signature, or other writing may appear on the image or the front of the board.

DELIVERY & RETURN OF WORKAll contest entries must be delivered to the Marketing Division at the Main Bank, Longview, during regular banking hours the week of June 12, 2017. No late entries will be accepted. All winning photographs will be retained until the 2018 Collector’s Calendar has gone to press. All other photographs may be picked up the week of July 17.

LIABILITYTexas Bank and Trust will not be responsible for any damage to photographs. Extreme care will be taken in the handling and exhibiting of the work.
