JA History
Founded in 1919
JA started as a collection of small after- school business clubs for students in Springfield, Massachusetts.
JA now reaches more than 11 million young people worldwide each year.

JA North Alabama History
Huntsville office founded in 1985.
Merged with Decatur office in Jan 2009
Recently formed Marshall Co. District summer 2011
Now serves 12 counties- 11 in North Alabama, 1 in Tennessee
Teaches approximately 10,000 students each year!
