Welcome to week 6.
I wanted to share an email that I received last week:
Good afternoon Lyn,
Both Mark and I would like to commend the children from your school, Nick Cooper, Angus McCaskie, Mitchell Whyte and Lucas Matthews, for their effort and sportsmanship shown when playing for Western Region at the NSWPSSA Australian Football State Championships last week. The boys were exemplary representatives of West Wyalong PS and Western Region. We wish them well in their future endeavours.
Joel Wilson and Mark Ranger – Western Australian Football Management
Congratulations boys and thank you for making us so proud!
We have had many different sporting events this term and there is still plenty more to come. Sportsmanship, teamwork and a positive attitude are qualities that are to be admired and our students are encouraged to give their best, try their hardest and to encourage their teammates and their opponents. We have received positive feedback from different sporting events and we thank our students for representing our school with pride.
Enjoy your week!

BOOKS 4 OUTBACK VISIT
Last Tuesday the 28th May West Wyalong Public School had a visit from Bill Iceton from Books 4 Outback. Books 4 Outback is a self-funded organisation that is based in Newcastle. It is run by volunteers who personally deliver pre-loved books in excellent condition to children in regional and remote areas across New South Wales. Books 4 Outback donated three boxes full of books to our school. Thank you very much Bill and the Books 4 Outback team for your generous donation to our school.
