Purpose: To conserve water in times of hot weather, less rain, or if a water main breaks

Water conservation measures will be in effect for Aberdeen Proving Ground personnel and organizations

Specifically prohibited: — Washing down sidewalks, walkways, driveways, parking lots, tennis

courts, or other hard-surfaced areas. — Washing down buildings or structures for purposes other than

immediate fire protection.— Washing any car, motorbike, boat, trailer, airplane or other vehicle. — Flushing gutters or allowing water to run or accumulate in gutters or

streets— Reduce use of water for landscaping, irrigation, dust suppression &

hydrant flushing.
