Upon ;he motion of Mr. Morgan, seconded by Mrs. :ilnbree and

carri ed, the Be! r d ap proved the regula ti ons cov eri ng the enploymen t of

Wyoming Commis ion for the Celebration of the Two Hundredth Anniversary

of the Birth 0 George Washir.gton, the State of IV",foming acting through

the State Boar of Chariti es and Reform, and the Tmstees of the Univ"er"sity

of Wyoming, wa approved. President Crane and the Secretary of the Board

were authorize to sign. This motion was seconded by Mrs. Oviatt and

carried.

Upon the motion of Mr. Geddes the Executive Committee was

authorized to tart the preparation of plans for the celebration of the

Semi-Centenniel of the Founding of the University of Wyoming in 1937

and an appropri tion of $25Q .OO was made to carryon the work during the

coming year. qilis motion was seconded by lIr. Elliott and carried.

Dr. C~ane then reported that the University's legal counsel

had approved th change in the By-Laws of the Trustees which authorizes

the Secretary 0 the University to make cash p~ments under certain

stipulations as appearing in our minutes of March 26th, 1931, Upon

the motion of M • Bond it was agreed to try this plan for one year.

This motion was seconded by Mr. Morgan and carried.

other publicly ""ed grounds. Upon me motion of Mr. Bond it wau voted

to match dollar for dollar wi th m!>ney that m"'l be contributed by any de­

partment of the State of Wyoming for this purpose up to a maximum of

$2,000.00. Thi moti on was seconded by lJr. Geddes and carried.

field be named I Corbett Field." The Board took me request under advise­

ment. Later, aJ ter discussion, Dr. Crane infonned 1he Beard that recommenda­

tions of this k nd usually come throu~ the faculty and suggested this

matter be refer ed to the faculty when it reconvenes in Septencer·. Upon

Regul.tions for the Selection of Lots in Fraternity ParkGoverning from and after APril 1, 1931.

1. T'nese reguhtions are made in furtherance of a contz:act, entitled"Agreement", maCe between lhe lloard of TNstees of the University ofWyoming and the Irraternities of the Universi ty of Wyoming, on June 12, 1930,concerning the F!u'chase a.'ld. sale 9f lots in the Fraterni ty Parll:, and areestabli shed in sbcordance wi lh the power given the Board of Trustees bythe first paragr"ph, FBge 3 of an instrulnent entitled "OUtline of ContractStipulations wi"t Respect to Lots in Fraterni ty Park" which instrumentwas incozporated into and made a pa.::rt of said contract.

, II. T'!le regulations herein adopted shall be subject to all the provi sionsof said contract of June 12, 1930 and also other provisions of the "Condi_tions to Ratification" of said .contract as adopted by said Board of TNsteesby resolu ti on 0' Jun~ 18, 1930.

III. 'lhese regul tions will go into effect upon adoption by the Board ofTrustees a.'ld. con ime in effect until further action is taken by the Board

IV. A:D;f fratern ty, which has not been assigned a lot under the regulationsadopted by resol tion of the Board of TNstees of June 18, 1930, shall beentitled to sele t any unassigned lot in Fraternity Park upon executinga contract for i s purchase which meets the following condi tions:

1. Said co tract shall comply wi th the provisions of the contract ofJune 12, 1930 af resaid and also wi th the provisions of "Condi tions toRatificati on" of said CDntract as adonted by said Board of Trustees byresoluti on of Ju e 18, 1930. -

2. T'ne fra ernity. shell make an initial payment of not less than$250.00, in cash upon the exem ti<yl'. of the contract.

3. The con ract shall fur ther contain the following:

a. A promise to pay $250.00 per annum each year for the fouryears next insui g the date of the contract.

b. A promise to pay the balance of the purchase price infull wi thin five years of the date of said contract.

c. The fraterni ty shall co'ntract to build a house,' approvedin accordance wif!> the provisions of the contract of June 12,193°, withinseven years of t e date of executing this contract.

Dr. Cane then mentioned the proposed chenge in our fiscal year

to be Septenber lst to Allgu, t 31st. After discussion the President wes

requested to eo, tinue his investigations wi th state official. and

univerei ty atto'peys and if, in his opinion, the change is advisable, re-

port wi 11 be ma e to the Exeel tive Commi ttee and the commi tt.ee is hereby

authorized to al'lProve the change. This motion was made by Mr. Holliday,

seconded by Mr. ~ddes and carried.

It was moved by Mr. Elliott that Mr. Snith be employed as

of the Board. T.is motion was seconded by Mrs. Enbree end carried.

Upon t: e motion of Mr. Bond, Mr. :FUller was appointed Fiscal

Agent at hi. pre ent salary for the next fiscal year. This motion was

seconded by Mr. ollidey and carried.
