Transcript of June 6, 2021 The Pentecostals 2950 South Memorial Drive ...
(I was blessed to be a part of the first Spanish service last night at the POG with
Pastor Cabrera, his wife Christina, and their family. With almost 40 in attendance,
I believe God is going to do something great in the Spanish community in
Greenville!)
“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their
strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles;
they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk,
and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:31) We are so blessed to live
in a free country, and yet we often take for granted the
rights that we have to worship. We have the freedom to
lift up holy hands and magnify the Lord, but something
holds us back from doing it. We have an abundance of
Bibles, but they all collect dust because of neglect. We
can go door to door and share the gospel, but we con-
vince ourselves that nobody wants to hear what we have
to say, nobody is interested in hearing about Jesus
Christ. We try to justify our disobedience, yet all the
while, people are crying out for something more from
life.
They cry out, but how will they know if someone
doesn’t show them? What will it take to be used of God?
Faith to believe that the Lord would call us to be used.
Overcoming the doubt and believing that we are capa-
ble of being used. Forgiving ourselves for the times that we failed to allow God
to use us. Obtaining a fresh anointing when we learn to seek the Lord until He
may be found.
Determination to keep reaching out to those we meet everyday, becom-
ing living epistles of His mercy and goodness. Lifting Him up, so that all men
may be drawn to Him. Prayer: it is time to pray and seek the Lord. And after
we have sown the seeds, we wait. No longer can we say the harvest is coming,
for the harvest is already here, waiting to be gleaned.
We must keep trusting God. Don’t give up on your dreams. Don’t give up
on your desires. Don’t give up on God. Don’t give up on yourself. The Lord
knows the plans that He has for you. He desires that you prosper and be in
good health, even as your soul prospers. Keep believing. Today, we can wor-
ship Him freely, so “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts
with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the Lord is good;
his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.” (Psalm
100:4,5) -gm/wm
