Our Gallery ArtistAlice Lunsford, born in Canada and long-time resident of Santa Monica, California, was an art major at Birmingham-Southern College in Alabama and received her BA in Commercial Art from UCLA. She attended the Jade Fon Artist’s Workshop in Asilomar, CA and currently studies with Gloria Lee. She has had exhibits at various galleries throughout Southern California including the Blue 7 Art Gallery, Four Seasons Art Gallery, The Silk Penguin, Gagneir’s Cajun Restaurant, The Academy Of New Musical Theatre, The Cut Salon and the Morgan-Wixson Theatre where she and her husband Jim are life members. Her paintings are in private collections throughout the nation. Her renditions of Charles Addams’ cartoons, which can be seen in Morgan-Wixson’s Art Gallery, express her love of that famous cartoonist’s drawings. As an actress, Alice has appeared in many productions at both the old and new Santa Monica Theatre Guild, and she is a member of WGA, Dramatist's Guild and SAG/AFTRA. She is currently collaborating on three musicals: “DALI”, “GYPSY LOVE” and “A PERFECT PITCH”. Her novel, “IF THE GARFISH DON’T BITE” will soon be available for purchase.
WHO’S WHO IN THE CASTMatthew Artson (Lurch) is deadly serious about happilyserving the MWT again and serving the Family in question. Performing since he was five, studying theatre at UC San Diego and in London, he has appeared in numerous roles in film, television, and on stage. Recent performances include singing with Legal Voices at the Walt Disney Concert Hall, Sheriff Earl in ALL SHOOK UP, Dr. Madden/ Dr. Fine in NEXT TO NORMAL, and Nicky/ Trekkie/ Bad Idea Bear in AVENUE Q at MWT. He’s thrilled to be working alongside this incredible cast
and crew who kill it every time. This role is dedicated to his Dad and Jeanne.
Joel D. Castro (Chainmail Knight) is a classically trained,award- winning, baritone from LA and is thrilled to return to theMWT. He received his BA in Theatre, Classics, and Music fromSanta Clara University, and his MM in Vocal Performance fromCalifornia State University, Northridge with further training inGraz, Austria. Prominent roles include Pedro in MAN OF LAMANCHA, Leporello in DON GIOVANNI, Aeneas in DIDO ANDAENEAS, Guglielmo in COSÌ FAN TUTTE, and Jud Fry in OKLAHOMA!at MWT. When not performing, Joel can be found practicing

Chandler David (Pilgrim Ancestor) is excited to be appearing in his third MWT Mainstage production, having previously appeared in LEGALLY BLONDE and ALL SHOOK UP.He has also appeared in many shows with the MWT’s Y.E.S. program and at Crossroads School. Some of his favorite roles include Lord Farquaad in SHREK, THE MUSICAL and Cardinal Richelieu in THE THREE MUSKETEERS. He would like to thank Anne, Lauren, Daniel, Meredith, and Larry for this amazing opportunity.

Annie Claire Hudson (Wednesday Addams) I am thrilledto be in this production of THE ADDAMS FAMILY MUSICAL.Being able to play such an iconic and dark character is truly an honor. Other notable roles include: Enid Hoops in LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL, Anna in SPRING AWAKENING, and Olive in THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE.

Spencer Johnson (Mal Beineke) is ecstatic to be back on the MWT stage after sporting pink as Elle Woods’ father in LEGALLY BLONDE last summer. A special shout out to Anne and Lauren for constantly pushing us for improvement and to the rest of the cast, my family in LA., thank you for welcoming me into your lives, providing me with constant laughs and happy memories. Much love to the 'rents for buying season tickets even though they live in TX, adorable Corgi videos and, most importantly, hot sauce.
Carly Linehan (Grandma Addams) is delighted to beadding on the decades and slipping on the Depends tomake her MWT debut! No stranger to the local theatrescene, her favorite past roles include Little Red in INTO THEW OODS, Amy in LITTLE WOMEN, Peter Pan in PETER PAN, andMaria in SOUND OF MUSIC, to name a few. Paul C. Luoma (Uncle Fester) has performed regionally across the U.S. and in New York City in numerous readings, workshops, and full-scale productions. He has a BFA in Musical Theatre Performance from Western Michigan University, and also studied writing at NYU. He was last seen on the MWT stage playing Dennis in ALL SHOOK UP.Thanks to Anne, Daniel, and Lauren for an absolutely wonderful experience. And, thanks to his fiancé, Alicia Reynolds, for her never-ending love and support. "Let's not talk about anything else, but LOVE".
Aric Martin (Gomez Addams) is delighted to be returningto the MWT. He was previously seen as Roger de Bris inTHE PRODUCERS, Sir Robin in SPAMALOT, Princeton/Rod inAVENUE Q and the M.C. in CABARET. Regional creditsinclude Shakespeare Santa Cruz and The Berkshire TheaterFestival. Aric is also an accomplished director and actingteacher. Directing credits include SPRING AWAKENING, KILLERJOE by Tracy Letts, EDMUND by David Mamet, BURN THISby Lanford Wilson, ROMEO & JULIET and MACBETH. Aric is

Kaitlin Moore (Harem Girl Ancestor) has been training inmusical theatre since the age of 5 when she did her firstmusical performance of MY FAIR LADY at the MWT with Kidson Stage. Since then she has played many various roles inperformances with the most recent being Polly Browne in THEBOY FRIEND and Peggy Sawyer in 42ND STREET. She iscurrently a Film Production major at Chapman University andwants to pursue both theatre and film in her career. This is herfirst show with the MWT Mainstage Company and she is soexcited!
Rosey Murrah (Flapper Ancestor) has done many shows, but this is her 2nd show at the MWT. She would like to thank Anne, Larry, Lauren, Daniel, and Meredith for all that they have done for this show and the theatre! She has loved working with this cast and would like to thank them for being so welcoming and helpful! She is so happy to be a part of ADDAMS FAMILY THE MUSICAL and hopes everyone enjoys the show!
Eileen Cherry O'Donnell (Bride Ancestor) devoured the Addams family movies as a child, grim grins at all things spooky and was dying to play the bride ancestor. This is her sixth masquerade at the MWT and she is frighteningly excited to appropriately use "dead eyes" onstage. Watch out the MWT is actually haunted. Boo!
Alicia Reynolds (Alice Beineke) is thrilled to be tackling theincredibly fun and complex role of Alice. This is her firstofficial "mother" role in all of her performing history! Is that agood thing or a bad thing? LOL! Originally from Palm Beach,Florida, Alicia graduated from Elon University, NC with aBFA Degree in Music Theatre. This is her third show at theMWT. She was last seen on the MWT stage as Miss Sandrain ALL SHOOK UP, and before that she played VivienneKensington in LEGALLY BLONDE. This is also her secondshow in a row with her amazingly talented fiancé, Paul.
She feels so blessed! Alicia is also a Historical romance writer who writes underthe pen name Alice Langdon (Alicia, Alice and Alice. Funny, right?) Specialthanks to the incredibly talented Addams cast, and to Anne, Lauren andMeredith. And remember: "Parents do it. Live with it."

Alexandra Senior (Bustle Girl Ancestor) is a soon to besophomore at Beverly Hills High School and she loves tosing, act, and dance. She has been doing shows at theMWT for almost her entire childhood and some of herfavorite roles include Emily in FRECKLEFACE STRAWBERRYand the Jester in ONCE UPON A MATTRESS. She is glad to beback after a short break and would like to thank Anne,Lauren, and everyone else involved with the show for theirhard work and for being awesome.
Scott Senior (Lucas Beineke) 18, is excited to beplaying Lucas in this amazing production! Favorite MWTY.E.S. program roles include Shrek in SHREK THE MUSICAL,Bob Wallace in W HITE CHRISTMAS, and The Beast inBEAUTY AND THE BEAST. Mainstage credits include theensemble of SPAMALOT and THE PRODUCERS, as well asAaron Schultz in LEGALLY BLONDE. In the fall, Scott will beattending UCLA as a Theatre BA. Chris Tiernan (Louis XIV Ancestor) is excited to be in his third show with the MWT. Previously, you may have seen him this season as Chad in ALL SHOOK UP, or as Warner in last summer’s LEGALLY BLONDE. Alexis Turner (Saloon Girl Ancestor) is excited to be a part of THE ADDAMS FAMILY. It is her first Mainstage production which makes it extra exciting. She has been doing musical theatre since she was eight and loves singing, dancing, acting and spending time with friends and family. Alexis is currently a 10th grader at Windward School and is thankful for the support from her family. She would like to thank Lauren, Anne and all the cast and crew members. Enjoy the show!!
Nicholas Vizzi (Pugsley Addams) is 12 years old and is thrilled to be performing in THE ADDAMS FAMILY. This is Nicholas’ 3rd show at the MWT and his first Mainstage show.Other roles include Gnome/Young Shrek in SHREK THE MUSICAL and Peter in PINKALICIOUS THE MUSICAL. Holly Weber (Bloomer Girl Ancestor) got her musicaltheater start at the Morgan-Wixson Theatre at age 7. MWT productions include CHICAGO, THE PRODUCERS and LEGALLYBLONDE. Other favorite theater performances include Mabelin PIRATES OF PENZANCE and Amber in HAIRSPRAY. Thanksto the cast and crew and especially my husband Steve forhis love and support!
Steve Weber (Caveman Ancestor) is proud to join sucha talented cast in ADDAMS FAMILY. During the day, he’s anumber crunching accountant, but outside of work, he playssports, works out and performs in musical theater. He’sbeen performing for many years in both LA and OrangeCounty and his favorite roles include Will Parker in OKLAHOMA, Sir Galahad in SPAMALOT & Rocky in THE ROCKYHORROR SHOW. Meredith Wright (Producer) grew up loving the Addams Family cartoons in The New Yorker, and would like to thank the cast and crew for bringing The Family to life right before her eyes.
Anne Gesling (Director) has been at the MWT for 30 years, and has directed and/or music directed over 100 productions here including: AVENUE Q, LEGALLY BLONDE, THE PRODUCERS, CRAZY FOR YOU, A CHORUS LINE, CHICAGO, 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE, SWEENEY TODD, THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE,NEXT TO NORMAL, THE SECRET GARDEN, THE FULL MONTY, PIPPIN, WEST SIDE STORY, RUTHLESS, to name just a few.. She is a nine time Geoffrey Award winner for Best Director, and has even won Best Costume Design a few of times. She was honored to have been recognized with an Outstanding Direction Award for CHICAGO and Best Music Direction Award for CHICAGO and SPELLING BEE from StageSceneLA and Best Director and Music Director from the NAACP, also for CHICAGO. Anne is also a Board member at MWT, co-founder of the Youth Education/Entertainment Series (YES), and is embarking on the 21st Annual Youth Musical this fall. Anne is privileged to have worked with this incredibly talented (and creepy) cast, the insanely brilliant Dr. Koh, and to collaborate yet again with the uber-talented Lauren Blair. Huge thanks to all, and to Ms. Meredith, of course!
Lauren Blair (Choreographer / Egyptian Ancestor) joined the MWT family in 2012 performing in CRAZY FOR YOU, and has since choreographed and performed in over a dozen productions including SHREK, LEGALLY BLONDE(Brooke Wyndham), WHITE CHRISTMAS (NYA for Outstanding Choreography 2015), THE PRODUCERS (Ulla), SPRING AWAKENING, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST (NYA Award for Outstanding Choreography 2014), and SPAMALOT. She has taught jazz and tap dance at University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music, LeDance Studio, The Otto M. Budig Academy of Ballet, Belasco Theatre Company, Cal State LA, and Jilly Jazz. She has choreographed 30+ musicals and also recently began pursuing a directing career. Lauren earned her M.A. in Theatre Arts and Dance from CSULA in 2013, and been employed as faculty choreographer and costumer at Santa Monica College since 2009. Thanks to Anne and the cast/crew for the continued fun and collaboration, and to hubsJonathan for his never ending support!

Daniel Koh (Music Director / Cowboy Ancestor) is thrilled to be involved in his fourth production at the MWT with this amazing cast and crew! He has been serving as the Director of Choral Activities and Performing Arts Department Chair at Marymount High School in Los Angeles, where he directs all of the choral ensembles and teaches music theory. Prior to moving to Los Angeles, he served as the Director of Choral Activities and Fine Arts Department Chair at Saint Edward’s School in Vero Beach, Florida, where he also
served as the director and founder of the Atlantic Chamber Singers and the artistic director of the Vero Beach Choral Society. He received his Doctor of Musical Arts and Master of Musical Arts degrees in choral conducting from the Yale School of Music, where he served as director of the Yale Glee Club Chamber Singers, the Yale Divinity School Chapel Choir, the Yale Repertory Chorus and the Yale Recital Chorus. Favorite past productions that he has music directed include INTO THE W OODS, 42ND STREET, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, LITTLE W OMEN, THE SOUND OF MUSIC, and ONCE UPON A MATTRESS. Husband Rob~ thank you for the “antibiotics” and for always supporting my dreams— even when it means being away from you:) Thomas Brown (Set Design) is a professional Set Designer for theater, television, film and live events. He has been doing this since 1975. In his career he has created over 1000 set designs of varying media formats and presentation modes. He also has over eleven years experience as a college educator for SPELMAN COLLEGE in theater/dance production and set design. He is a four-time winner of the NAACP THEATER AWARD and a three-time winner of THE DRAMALOGUE AWARD for theater set design. Currently, Thomas serves at the MWT as a Board Member. He has been a contributing member of the theater and has been set designer for numerous shows here since 1993. He salutes the continued success of this theater and all of its staff and supporters. He is grateful to be a part of such a valuable theater community and he is extremely proud to design here again. William Wilday (Lighting Design) Acts 9: 4-6. Brenna Canelli (Stage Manager) is back at the MWT for her 9th show, shortly following a year-early graduation from Drew University in New Jersey with a BA in Theatre Arts, having primarily studied stage managing. Endless love and gratitude to Lauren Blair (Addams choreographer AND former high school teacher!), Dan LaPenta and the rest of Drew's theatre department, family, friends, and of course Anne and everyone else at the MWT for always welcoming me home.
