ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Keeping production going with as little down time as possible by following procedures outlined below: Building new dies, repairing and adjusting old dies, making new designs, duplicating parts to match per-fectly, forming dies and roll forms, and problem solving any and all questions relating to dies and their components. Helps in maintaining equipment so that it runs safely and efficiently to prevent trouble before it happens, i.e., sharpening, polishing, replacing worn parts, etc. After changing or making a new die, make test samples of products, test and evaluate the quality. Works with outside sources and/or Corporate Tool-ing to make and perfect dies to certain

specifications when unable to make in-house. Provides blueprints, gives recommendations and/or sugges-tions. Checks scheduling to watch for what part is to be ran next and seeing if anything is needed prior to start up.

Maintains inventory of supplies and orders parts or tools as needed. Checks and follows-up on ordered

dies to see that they are to be delivered on time. Check them when they arrive, run new samples, etc. Oc-

casionally travel to customers or other American Trim to look at their products and operations. Rotate on-

call duty by carrying pager, cell phone, etc., as scheduled by the supervisor. Maintains a clean and safe

work environment at all times. Other job duties as assigned by supervisor. TYPICAL MACHINES AND

EQUIPMENT INVOLVED: Punch presses, benders, feeders, roll forms, derailers, welders, powder coater,

plater, high lifts, transfers, hoist, conveyors, etc. TOOLS AND GAGES: Grinders, drill presses, lathes,

mills, all mechanical tools, all gages & meters and almost all precision measuring instruments (calibers,

etc.).

Job Duties: Responsible for the operation of the production work cell. This includes die setting, safety,

quality, productivity, and customer service internal and external. Job Responsibilities: Produce daily job

assignment using WMS. Responsible for all set up, including loading of coil, leveler adjustment, and die

alignment for 90 to 600 ton press. Operate tow motor for die changeover, pre-staging of product, etc. Be

responsible for quality parts, dimensional plus visual. Ensure that job and set up is run according to Pro-

cess Data Sheets (PDS) and/or Documentation Management System (DMS) procedures. Follow all of

the safety procedures: Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Equipment Safety Analysis (ESA), and Area Safety

Analysis (ASA). Ensure that job is run in environmental compliance after instructions from supervisor/

environmental group. Communicate with shift supervisor, tooling engineers, quality engineers and other

work cell people on opposite shift concerning production problems, quality and related information. Per-

form SPC in assigned areas. Monitor lube to prevent shearing of dies, part location, scrap build up and

observe and report problem areas in dies to appropriate tooling personnel. Set dies in scheduled time

frame to meet customer requirements. Organize tool and equipment to make die changes as efficient as

possible and make sure next job is pre-staged with dies and material. Be capable of running your own

operation, responsibility for all reporting (parts completion reports, downtime reports, etc.). Be able to

align and secure top and bottom die sections, insure the proper operation of safety operating devices

and improvise dies for special operations. Perform routine housekeeping in work area(s) as necessary.

and in-service training as scheduled or as directed. Quality and Compliance, and Risk Management: Ensures that

nursing procedures are followed by nursing service personnel, and that they reflect the day-to-day nursing care

procedures used by the facility. Participates in the maintenance, and implementation of the facility’s quality assur-

ance program. Ensures the procedures for the administration, storage and control of medications and supplies are

being followed by nursing staff. Ensures that resident rooms, treatment areas, work areas and equipment are

maintained in a clean, sanitary, and safe manner. People Management and Development: Supervises STNAs.

assist patients to respond to electronic medication reminder systems. Provides homemaking services,

such as bed making, light housework, laundering, and errand running with patient/family’s agreement or

as assigned, which may include reading and recording temperature, pulse, and respiration, Foley cathe-

ter care, basic infection control procedures, and emergency procedures. Drives patients to and from
