COURSES4LIFECommunity Care is currently exploring next steps in developing courses and groups to assist people in stepping up, weathering and walking through life’s challenges. These could be anything from a one off seminar, a course or recovery group on topics such as; grief and loss, separation and divorce, addiction, depression and stress or other areas of mental health, overcoming past hurt, women’s and men’s issues, the list could go on. Melbourne Marathon 2016 FundraiserCome and join in the fun by participating in the Melbourne Marathon on Sunday 16th October. Several teams are registered under NewHope Community Care so please sign up for one of these teams suited to your level of fitness and enthusiasm. Team categories are: full marathon (42km), half marathon (21km), 10km run, 5.7km run and 3km walk. Check our Facebook page for updates & get those running shoes on! Registrations are now open.


Thailand Team TripEvery year we want to send a NewHope team to visit the Ethnic Thai team led by NewHope Global partners Muana and Villy. Latest News from Partners1. Miranda Hocking-Smith has recently been on outreach with a team

in the Cairns area. They shared at schools and churches, connecting and praying with many. This was followed by some time in Indonesia.

2. Phil and Carol Short are back home from 6 months in Niger, and hope to return in October. The security situation has deteriorated due to Boko Haram. This is limiting travel and available land for pastoralists. Regardless the ongoing sharing of the good news of Jesus and the training of His followers continues.
